Just got facial from them. It was a coupon gifted by my friend for my birthday. It was about $140 cost and it was named exceptional facial which infact was not exceptional at all. I got better facials done for half the price. Worst experience and poor ambience. Please go elsewhere, they are just ripping people off.

I scheduled my appointment in advance online. Little did I know that day was going to be extra rough! – When I entered the doors of Hand and Stone, I knew it was going to be okay. The staff is all inclusive, caring and soft-spoken. My migraine melted away and so did my stress. It felt like a safe space. Will definitely be back. 🙂

I had the worst experience with customer service at this location. I originally scheduled a prenatal massage and was told a price and went in for my massage. AFTER the massage, they informed me it was actually going to be way more expensive since it was prenatal. I didn’t feel comfortable with this so they said “Just sign up for our membership and then cancel it. You’ll get the cheaper price and no harm in canceling.” So that’s what I did, only to find out, you actually get charged another month if you cancel the membership!! I told customer service that the front desk lady told me there would not be another charge but they didn’t care. I will NOT being going back to any Hand and Stone.

I do not know what has happened to this place. We had been going here for years and in the past 6 months, this place has tanked. To start with, they started rescheduling “members”… Ok, Covid, we get it. Then they started canceling… Ok Covid… we get it. At a certain point, you need to start being more realistic with your promises. Then they ruined my wife’s Father’s Day plans. My wife scheduled me as a Father’s Day gift. The spa rescheduled. I show up for the rescheduled day, I sit there FOR 45 minutes! They cancel on me and I am told that the manager will call me. No call back. I call, no call back. I call a week later, no call back. I call a month later, no call back. My wife calls to cancel her monthly membership, and she is told “the system is down”. The manager has never been available.

Joined a BI monthly membership back in Spring of 2021. All seemed fine until a few months later, when I found out I was being billed MONTHLY. I went into the location and corrected the problem. I even asked a couple of times, when there for other appts, if things were still corrected. I was assured they were. My location has had their share of losing therapists and my appts have been cancelled several times. I realize they can’t always be responsible for turnover but its really inconvenient when appts are cancelled. TODAY, I was cancelled again. I went into my account and saw that I had “4 credits”…not knowing what this meant, I called. I was told I was missing appts in March, April, May and June. I said ‘how can I have missed months in a row when I am BI monthly.”. It was only after speaking with Membership Coordinator today that I was told my original BI MONTLY contract was only good for 6 months. WHAAAAT??? No one ever mentioned that (although they said it is my paperwork) nor, if that’s the case, spoke to me, reminded me, sent an email reminder to that effect etc. That, IMO, is ‘business ethics 101″. AND if I truly have been being billed monthly since NOV…where are my Nov, Dec, Jan and Feb appts???

Positive: QualityOverall the experience was good. My masseur, Travis, was incredible. He knew exactly what areas needed extra attention and applied just the right amount of pressure when necessary. It was probably the best massage I’ve experienced to date. The only downfall was the roughness of his hands. I must say, It caught me off guard because I’ve never experienced a masseur with such rough hands. It was to the point that I thought he was giving me a sugar scrub the moment he began the massage. Travis was great but he left :/ I have a membership here and called to cancel and postpone an appointment 15 minutes after the deadline of 24 hours before.. and so they had to use my membership hour to cover the cancellation fee. So I said well maybe I can come in for some of the time and they said sorry I already cancelled you’d have to use another hour.. Didn’t feel like great customer service.
