If I could give Zero stars I would. They have a company-wide issue when it comes to scheduling appointments. Dosnt matter if it’s facials or massages they just can’t get it right. My recent experience here solidified me in canceling my membership for good and I have been a loyal monthly paying member for over 5 years. They have a Massage Envy 5 minutes from where i live yet i still tried to stay with this company. I am tired of wasting gas, tolls and sleep to show up for an appointment that I booked weeks in advance and be told it is cancled once I walk in the door. I work overnight and all of my appointments are set up for me to drive straight from work. I have to provide 24 hours notice of cancelation or I get charged but on numerous occasions my appointment is cancled with no repercussions. Just hey sorry we had to cancel when can we reschedule your next appointment like its no big deal. They did it to me twice in Wilmington which is 1hr35 min away, Newark 1hr 5 min away this place had the nerve to not even be open during the regular hours they open at 9 my appointment is at 10, 1030 the workers outside waiting for someone to show up to be let in and one of the workers told me that was not uncommon. My last ditch effort I come here to Middletown still gas and tolls and this time a 40 minute drive. Show up cancled, and my appointment was for 930 I got a cancelation email at 954. What sense does that make. No phone call attempts nothing. I say hi I’m here for an appointment oh its cancled when would you like your next rescheduled date…If I showed up at 954 for a 930 appointment they would have cancled and charged me. I’m over this company. Massage Envy here i come!!!!

One of the best massages ever! Improvement opportunities: add a relaxing, chill place to wait beforehand and/or hang out after treatments; okay to offer deals but a hard sell trying to get you to commit to ongoing services as you are leaving your first appointment is off-putting.

If I could give zero stars I would! Number 1 I had won a gift card to this facility went to book and let them know they tell me that it was already redeemed at a different location. And that there was nothing they could do. I’m like that’s weird but whatever. I had to talk to a few different people and wait for a phone call back. No one got back cuz they had the wrong number. Weird when the girl repeated back to me. Anyway. I call back to just book just cuz I wanted to go and no one picked up. I really feel like they were screening my calls. Still no answer to this day! And this happened July beginning of august. I WILL NEVER AND I MEAN EVER GO OR EVEN RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

My twin sister and I received a gift card to get a message at hand and stone massage in Middletown, Delaware in May for our birthday. When it was purchased, staff from hand and stone stated it would not be a problem to have our massages scheduled together and we would be able to schedule on or around our birthday. The staff lied to our family to have them spend the money. I was very disappointed when we were told we cannot have our massages together and they don’t have the staff to facilitate two people together. We were also unable to get our money back. Now we are scheduled for August 6 at two separate times which is very disappointing. The staff was not accommodating at all!!! I would give NO STARS IF POSSIBLE!

Very disappointed with the owner of this business. After Covid they were very short staffed (understandable) and since i have a few sessions that i haven’t used, I froze my account (you can only freeze for 3 months) due to scheduling difficulties with company. i tried several times to make appointments but they were 2 and 3 months out and only had facials available. After getting an apointment in May for a facial i decided to cancel my membership, i couldn’t see paying them $60.00 per month and not being able to use their services. I was told that my membership was due to expire July 30th, however they were going to extend my membership for an additiaonl 60 days so i could try to use my credits….. well… during my appointment in July the owner decided NOT to extend my membership and i am now out $360.00. Not only am I out of the money, i also had reward points for free products and i was unable to remdeem those as well.

-Unable to get massage as scheduled. Went to 2 appointments and advised that my therapist had not shown up or they had failed to book the appointment correctly. They continued to charge my card even though massages were not done.

This location continues to offer membership without the ability to book appointments. I’ve been charged month after month. I’ve called. No answer. I’ve sent messages. Nothing. I try to cancel, they then want to cite the cancellation policy. Save your time and money.

Got gift cards for Mother’s day, can’t make an appointment online because I’m not a member. Tried to call, had to call a different location to get Middletown’s number. Couldn’t get an appointment until 2 months out. Ask for a refund on the gift cards, since it is near impossible to get an appointment but gift cards are not refundable. Won’t buy from this franchise again. Very FRUSTRATING
