I’ve scheduled 3 separate times for a massage and only for them to cancel the morning of the massage. I’d be charged a fee for that kind of notice, but consistently that’s the service this location has provided.

Room was cold. At least my table was heated, my girlfriend’s was not. Even though I wrote areas to stay away from and it looked like the therapist read it, she dug into it anyway. My girlfriend specifically asked for pressure in one area and got a light message instead. Weren’t asked anything about ambiance or offered water and bonus: it was couples message and they didn’t knock before entering. Our experience is now an inside joke. Been to Hand and Stone without issues but it was my girlfriend’s first and probably last. Thanks for the laughs.

Danny did a great job with my massage! He combined Swedish, with deep tissue, and trigger point. It was definitely firm and even a bit painful but that’s how I like my massages. My back already feels lighter.

My boyfriend got me a membership for Christmas. I had a facial that was very relaxing and effective. I am looking forward to my upcoming massage and feel this location is very professional, experienced, and they put you in a great state of mind. The mini massage I received with my facial was relaxing and felt great. What is your happiness worth? Get a massage or a facial once in a while, it makes a world of difference to your well being!

I was here yesterday. Place is very nice and clean, same as other Hand and Stone’s I’ve been to. Everyone was very nice but the massage was simply not good. I’ve been getting massages for many years and this has been one of the worst. She was very nice but very inexperienced. The whole massage was aggressive and rushed. I asked for firm pressure, not an aggressive massage that just left my already sore muscles, much worse. Instead of applying pressure where a therapist usually would, she would brush against it in quick motions but no pressure. She used hot towels (which I normally enjoy) but decided to leave it on my back with the sheet over it so by the time she removed it, the whole sheet was soaked and uncomfortable. At the end she also used one around my neck almost to the point of choking me which was quite uncomfortable. Also had no idea on how to seamlessly help me turn halfway through the massage (which most therapists handle very easily). This is nothing like I had experienced at a Hand and Stone before and I’m very surprised by it. I don’t think I’ll be going back to this location.

I was so stressed. Tensed up all over my body. My masseuse was wonderful. I used my birthday gift card and was able to add on aromatherapy with the pink Himalayan salt rub. I felt so amazing after I was done. Definitely recommend hand and stone in brookhaven, pa. Great way to relieve stress and live more holistically.

Hit or miss with the massage therapists. One time I went and it was fantastic, the next time was terrible. My husband and I like to get couples massages and he feels the same. We went in December and had 2 men who were amazing so we scheduled for February. Then we had 2 women… the individual I had scratched me more than she massaged me. I walked away feeling like I needed bandaids. It’s so terribly expensive that it’s really a shame. I definitely won’t be going back any time soon. Because I don’t go often, I don’t have like a set person so maybe I’d feel differently if I did. I left feedback with the location too but I guess it doesn’t matter to them because they make so much money off of this. Might consider going to a different location. TBD.

I usually go to H&S in Glen Mills. Having a gift card and not knowing it expired, I went to Brookhaven on Saturday. So, not only did I not have my gift card, but I got the worst massage of the eight years I’ve been getting them. It was so bad I paid again on Sunday to get a new one. Luckily, that was really good. It’s always been hit or miss at that H& S. Ask questions about your masseuse.
