Worst massage experience ever. The place was dark, dank with threadbare carpets that felt disgusting to put your shoes on, never-mine bare feet. When I booked the appointment the previous day I said I may want an extra 30 minutes and the receptionist said, “no problem just ask your therapist.” The next day I asked the therapist if she had time and she said,” yes, no problem.” During the last 20 minutes of the massage there was knocking on the door that the therapist ignored. After three times she answered and spoke for 10 seconds and finished the massage. I thought she had a family emergency! Finally on my way to pay I was accosted by a young woman who told me “ You have to tell me you want extra time!”“What? I told the receptionist yesterday and the therapist today.” “Well no one told me!” What kind on place scolds clients for paying extra? Very rude young woman.

Did a facial at this location and will now make it my “home” location. The manager here was more upbeat and friendly (so is the staff).Viviana was fabulous. I was long overdue for a facial and she took the time out to get all those pores unclogged ! I definitely felt the difference after. Thank you!

Horrible service. Showed up for my appointment to be told the manager re-scheduled my appointment with a male therapist. I never booked with a male and my online reservation confirmed I booked with a female. I even called twice to confirm my appointment and was told I had a female. I was further told that the manager may have misunderstood while on the phone meanwhile we never mentioned a male. I was further informed the manager never would have rescheduled my appointment with a male unless consent was given, consent was not given. I was told by the receptionist that the manager was not in and that the only thing they could do was reschedule my appointment and add a “complementary $10 aromatherapy”. They also stated they had no appointments the rest of the day due to being booked. When I asked for the managers number I was told to call the store the following day as that’s when the manager would be on duty . Do not recommend!!!

Critical: QualityMy experience last Friday night at the Hand and Stone in Jericho was very disappointing. Their systom is good on scheduling the appointment and emailing the documents to fill out prior to arrival which I appreciated, but the actual massage was very poor. I received an expensive gift card for a Himalayan hot stone massage and my massage therapist (forgot her name) lacked the appropriate skills in delivering a proper massage. After a stressful few weeks and my body being tense I was looking forward to relaxing during my massage. Basically, I had oil and stones rubbed on me and not an actual massage…my 12 yr old would have done a better job. When I was kindly explaining to the therapist that she could place more pressure on me and the areas I need more concentration on, I was totally dismissed. I am disappointed at these higher end massage parlors offering lower quality service. I’ve received massages that I have purchased on Groupon at a lower cost that was much much better. I wasn’t going to write a review…especially a negative one but the company kept sending me emails to review them. Their systom is good on scheduling the appointment and emailing the documents to fill out prior to arrival which I appreciated, but the actual massage was very poor. Tried to cancel my account but then was convinced by the owner to put it on hold so that I remain in the system. She ensured that I would not be charged unless I reauthorized the account but 2 months later the auto pay kicked in. I’ve moved to NJ since and they were still taking the monthly fee for the past year!
