Bait and switch scam artists. My wife booked a facial and was told it was $70. After service was rendered, they told her because she had a membership years ago, she wasn’t eligible for that introductory price. They charged her $120 and blamed “corporate” for charging her an extra $50 despite the original quote. If they told her $120 up front she wouldn’t have gone here in the first place, but they lured her in by lying about the price.

Do not buy their gift cards. They are not eligible for introductory prices. An introductory massage is $70. A normal massage is $120. So a $50 gift card does nothing… I’ve never dealt with a business with a practice this deceptive and unethical and will never do business with them again.

Originally went in to cancel subscription and they convinced me to pause for 3 months. After 3 months I was charged twice and didn’t use any services. After second charge I called to cancel and they told me I still had to pay for third month because they have a 30 day policy.

If you need a facial, book an appointment with Vanessa right away! She is an absolutely amazing esthetician– very knowledgeable, communicative and thorough. She made me feel very comfortable, asked me questions about my problem areas/skin concerns, and helped me pinpoint reasons behind some skin issues I have. She was super personable, and did an absolutely amazing job! I was very relaxed during the facial– even the extractions were gentle (and super effective)! I left feeling beautiful, rejuvenated and confident. This is, by far, the best facial I’ve ever gotten.

Really appreciate management hearing me out and helping work with the situation. They offered to get me back in with another therapist which I do appreciate but honestly still very uncomfortable after the last experience and will not be returning to this location.Also, don’t understand the owners response to this review. it most definitely was not a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.ORIGINAL:I had a massage appointment tonight at this Bordentown location. I am 11 weeks pregnant and called prior to my appointment this morning to confirm it I’d still be able to get my massage and disclosed I was 11 weeks pregnant. The woman I spoke to stated that I was totally fine to come in, that hand and stone changed the policy that first trimester massages were okay and that they would see me tonight. She also said she would add it to the file that I was pregnant. So I went in tonight for the massage, went to the room and disclosed to the therapist I am 11 weeks pregnant, they had no idea so I guess it was not added to my file. They proceeded to tell me that they cannot massage in the first trimester and that I had to leave.I am extremely frustrated that I called to confirm, was told everything was fine, then wasted my time coming in when this wasn’t the case and had to leave. I’ve been a member for a couple of years now and have enjoyed coming to H&S for massages with Miss Shirley, who is wonderful — skilled, always kind and positive. I have only the best things to say about her. However, yesterday as I was having my massage, the woman in the room next door talked loudly the whole time she was on the table, and I could hear almost everything — either through the ventilation system, or because the walls are not buffered for sound. The male masseuse was soft spoken, I could not hear him. But she was real chatterbox. Twice I heard her say to the male masseuse, “My husband lives in Florida, but I have an apartment here.” LOL. This is the first time this has happened: usually it’s very quiet and peaceful, and I’ve even nodded off — such a refreshing change from my previous massages at a noisy chiropractor’s office. Could there be a “quiet please” sign as you go into your room, or white noise machines, or perhaps the music could be louder? I don’t want to hear someone else’s life story as I’m trying to relax. Especially now that the monthly price has gone up. Otherwise, five stars — terrific services, always clean, smells wonderful, easy parking.

I am a new member, joining the monthly program in December after a birthday facial. Excited for the experience, I had a facial and massage scheduled on a recent Friday evening. I arrived at 4:45 for a 5pm facial with a follow up massage. Clients came in after me and were continuously called to the back. I waited, and waited. At 5:18pm I got up and was going to ask the receptionist to reschedule me as I needed to get home timely. There were 2 staff on the desk when I arrived; one was no longer there and the other was now on the phone. After a few more minutes my esthetician came out and apologized, indicating that she was running late, but assuring me I’d get my full services. My facial began about 5:30pm. At 6:18 she left the room indicating that she would speak with my masseuse and ensure the room was ready for me. I should note I enjoyed the facial and feel she did a great service.
