Critical: Communication, Professionalism, Quality(I’m posting this AGAIN since they decided to delete all of their bad reviews)Never get a Brazilian wax from this place. First off your hair can’t be longer then a grain of rice (which is so oddly specific) or else they don’t want to wax you because “the wax won’t work.” Every other waxer I’ve ever been too has told me that the longer your hair is the better the wax will be, yes more painful for the client, but easier to wax. So right off the bat things are sketchy. Then the lady looked at my hair and told me she could do it. After spreading and waiting for the hard wax to get extra dry (which is not how you use hard wax) she tried to pull and realized she could not. Either she was using horrible quality wax or she was an inexperienced waxer (probably both) because the wax crumbled into smaller pieces that eventually after pulling for awhile came off. I immediately asked her if it was normal for the wax to not be able to pull off in one clean strip, then the gaslighting started. She tried to tell me that it was my fault for flinching so much and that she couldn’t do what she needed to do, it was not. I was barley moving and after the whole experience I called my regular wax lady to ask if she had experienced the same thing with me and she said no, that I was the normal amount of tense that everyone else is before getting hair ripped out of their vagina. When I tried to reply and ask more questions about her process she told me that I should leave and that “this wasn’t a good fit” she told me that “she never had a client that talked back as much as I did” and wanted to stop my service with two strips done and told me that I would still have to pay for HALF the price. She tried to explain that my hair was too long, but she knew how long my hair was before she tried to wax me. After I refused to leave because I wasn’t going to pay for a service I didn’t properly receive she tried to continue but ultimately failed. She made me pull on my own skin while she so slowly and piece by piece pulled the wax off my body and if I do much a slightly flinched my foot she scolded me for it. I eventually stopped her because she was being so hostile and was obvious she couldn’t do it. I paid for a bikini line with a gift card, thank god, and left. This woman was so mean that I cried in the car on my way home racking my brain trying to figure out what I did wrong, but I didn’t do anything wrong. This woman was just an unqualified bully who shouldn’t be doing what she’s does. I hope this review saves other people from the experience I had.
