Hand and stone in Turnersville was amazing. From the moment I walked in the front desk rep Carmen was very kind , greeting me by name and told me my therapist would be Right with Me. Malaysia was super awesome she immediately came out to get me and gave me a great facial explaining every detail with making me feel comfortable and relaxed. They were super welcoming and friendly. Extremely disappointed in the business practice. I was definitely financially ripped off. Husband purchased a $120 (plus tax) gift card for me. I had never been to Hand & Stone, so I scheduled an introductory $69 massage. I was hoping to use the balance toward another massage and become a regular customer. Unfortunately, I was told by the rude girl at the desk that they would “have to take the gift card for the full value because it is not our practice to let you carry a balance”. So, my $69 massage ended up costing $127.90, plus the $20 tip I gave the masseuse (who never told me her name). Very unprofessional and deceitful. I will never go back. I also want to add that the “one hour massage” only lasted about 40 minutes. Terrible experience.
