I came in for a facial which was probably one of the best I’ve ever received (I’m a facial fanatic) The whole staff from the moment you walk in to your actual service is so welcoming. I literally have never been as a client I stopped in one day to deliver a package and stood in there as long as I could it smells soooooo good ! The oil they use is to die for. So why did I just go back in there just to smell it. Talk about you can smell how good it smells inside from outside. Ugh I need to do a spa date here. Might not want to leave. Lol

The introductory Swedish massage I had was absolutely amazing, I really love a deep tissue but wanted to choose something I could get the introductory rate on. The masseuse did an excellent job applying firm pressure and focusing on my requested areas. If this review was solely based on the massage it would be 5 stars. Unfortunately the people working at the front desk leave a lot to be desired. Firstly, when you walk in they barely look up to greet you (there were 3 sitting there at the time of my visit) and they seem like they are doing YOU a favor by allowing you to come and PAY to get a massage there. There was also one older lady working behind the desk who was extremely rude and aggressive and barely looked up to answer my questions, which is surprising because you wouldn’t think the goal would be to stress people out right after their massage.Absolutely stunning behavior if I am being honest. I was a bit hesitant to get a massage from a place located in a strip mall and unfortunately the level of service really did reflect the location. I have never seen this poor level of service at a spa before (not that this is a spa.) It certainly wasn’t anything like a traditional spa, so if you are expecting traditional spa level service this is not the place for you. I would absolutely love to return for another amazing massage but the experience with the front desk left me a with such a sour taste in my mouth I left feeling more stressed out than when I came in. It really is a shame the talent of my excellent masseuse was greatly overshadowed by the absolutely dismal front desk service.Edit: if the above didn’t make this clear, I will certainly not be returning. Edit: the response from owner states that I should contact the spa with my concerns… so I should contact the same people who I had an issue with? With my previous experience my hopes would not be high for a pleasant experience calling them.

Hand and Stone of Allendale is the best H&S location I have visited yet! I have been a member of their spa lifestyle program for years based out of the Pompton Lakes studio, but have been going here ever since my magical massage with Josh! I personally recommend upgrading the massage with both hot stones and CBD oil for a truly relaxing experience, and signing up for the lifestyle program yourself! As both a college student and full-time worker, Hand and Stone provides me with a much-needed 1 hour of pure relaxation each month.

Frauds… I went for a massage with a gift certificate and provided my card afterwards for the tip only. Next thing I know, I’m being charged a monthly membership fee that I did not sign up for. They told me, “you should have caught the charge sooner..” They fought against me when I disputed the charge and they did not take responsibility for stealing money from me. I was told that the woman who fraudulently signed me up for the membership “is no longer working here,” shocker. Don’t trust this company with your credit cards!!!!

The massage therapists are great. However I lost two packages to their poor record keeping and customer service. After a few months I got one back and then got dodged calls for next 5 months, and I had proof. Watch your packages and your money and you’ll be fine here.

I’ve been coming here for a while now and every masseuse I’ve had is great!! They make me feel so relaxed and stress free! I have a monthly membership and it’s worth every penny! It’s a very reasonably priced membership and I love the aromatherapy add ons that you can add to your experience! I highly recommend this place!
