WARNING….. WARNING… This store does not deserve a rating because their customer service is so horrific and the manager is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, UNCARING about customers’ needs. If you sign up with them at the Hackensack, New Jersey, store make sure you ask about their cancelation policy. They will tell you that you can cancel at anytime when you sign-up, but when you request to cancel they will make you wait 72 hours to 6 days to return your call to cancel then make sure your billing cycle comes to let you know that you can’t cancel because they need a 30-day notice. Please note, they will still charge your credit card. WARNING…. WARNING…. WARNING….

According to the manager who replied to this review she wanted to make this better for myself, which is completely false because nothing was made better at all. I used to love this place until I brought my boyfriend there and he told me the message therapist Vanessa keeps getting personal with him. He said she kept asking his option on whether or not he thinks her husband is cheating on her or not. He said this happened every time I brought him there. Very disturbing to hear this. Definitely not what I paid for! So unprofessional, I was livid and stopped going there. One bad seed ruined my entire experience

I walked in this place not knowing how it would be but from the moment the receptionist talked to me, I felt at home. They’re really nice and efficient. I had a classic facial and my girl IRIS is amazing! She kindly offered an upgrade to my facial without being pushy or anything. I declined it but I will definitely comeback for another facial and will be taking my mom with me for a massage. Great service. Great people!

Critical: QualityThere massages and facials are not very good, to much $ for the serviced they actually provide. It’s a shame because the place is kind of nice, and the girls at the front desk are sweet. But the management is terrible. I went in to cancel my membership in October of 2019 and they somehow convinced me to put on hold and then i can cancel. Once the hold was up they started charging my card again and i called and canceled. I was told i had to go in and sign a paper to cancel, which i did and was told that the manager had to be there. Do not give you card for them to hold this is a scam to no end. they are still charging my cart from last year. I have now restricted my account from every allowing Hand and Stone to ever charge my card. They are very dishonest company, I am not the only person that they have done this to. I have been using this Spa for almost a year now and it is fantastic!Every single massage therapist I have gotten a massage from has been great but Vanessa is the best! I would recommend anyone to become a member! And whenever I have had questions, Tina has been extremely friendly and helpful.

I had a great experience at hand & stone . The massage therapist I had was very good and massaged the areas I had told her that needed extra work -on my legs. The spa was very clean and had a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was professional and was attentive. Offering coconut water and answering my many questions. I have had numerous massages during my lifetime and this was a very pleasant and relaxing experience.

The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I purchased a facial package and it was one of the most relaxing experiences I’ve ever had. Everyone was so professional and the whole atmosphere was clean, calming and welcome. Spending your money here is worth it. Will definitely be going back.
