My stylist did not cut my hair the way I asked. I showed a picture and everything and he completely did his own thing. It was cut really well, but it’s completely different than what I wanted. Both the length and the style were totally off. Then he hung out right by my side and pushed for a tip. It felt very unprofessional. Everything else was great. The employees were all really nice and I drank a free delicious ice tea. I just feel upset that I paid over $50 for a haircut that I did not even want.

I came to Hammer and Nails to get a beard trim and a haircut and asked for my beard to be rounded out and trimmed, but it was cut so short so quickly I didn’t even have a chance to stop and tell the barber to not cut that short. I truly hate the way my beard looks, it is uneven and barely resembles a beard anymore, it is more just facial hair. I came here because I thought I could trust them as they market themselves specifically towards men’s grooming, but I have learned from this experience. Haircut was fine, just avoid letting anyone touch your beard unless you know for sure they know what they are doing, or at least they are willing to listen to you.
