It takes getting a really amazing haircut to remember the confidence you hold inside. Starting at the front desk I was greeted with such kindness and was immediately giving excellent service. My stylist Kate was so personable and really took the wheel and let me know that I can trust her to give me a haircut experience worth coming back for time and time again. You can tell it’s her craft as a stylist and I couldn’t be more happy with the results and thankful for her expertise. 1000% recommendations here.

Great place! K.C. was awesome and took me from looking homeless to upper management with a great cut and a beard trim. The beer was not ice cold, but a good flavor! I was scheduled for a little over an hour and was in/out in 45 minutes. Joined the club as it makes more sense than getting the cut/grooming. Looking forward to my next visit!

Barbers are nice and friendly. I’ve had better haircuts though. After telling them what I wanted, it goes disregarded and I have to ask them to do what I asked for after a 30-40 minute haircut, which is probably why my biggest issue here is scheduling and timing. Multiple times now, I have scheduled an appointment online, for a time that is available, with a barber I prefer, for me to get to the shop and wait an extra 30 minutes, or to be texted before my appointment asking if I could come in later. Why offer scheduling if it never happens on time? I have cancelled my membership this morning, and am asking for a refund for the 3 months worth of services I have saved up because they charge for 2 services a month, but can never accommodate scheduled appointments. Would not recommend. Went to another barber in Gainesville this morning and the cut was better, quicker and cheaper.

I took my son as a birthday treat. The staff was nice, but there is where it ended. At the end of the cut his hair was uneven and his ear was bleeding. I showed them that it was uneven and it was corrected, but we still left with hair all over his ears and face and zero styling was done. This was our second visit. Our first visit included a finished product with dry hair and styling. I’m not sure why the quality changed while the price remained the same. This will be our last visit.

I have followed my barber Lorenzo to any shop he works in for a while now and nothing compares to Lorenzo’s barbering skills and the atmosphere and hospitality that Hammer and Nails brings!!! You’re greeted at the door with smiles and offered a drink to relax. 1st timers get a full walkthrough and rundown of the place prior to their 1st service! Place is amazing!!! Highly recommended!!!

My experience here has very much depended on the person doing my hair. Can be a very relaxing great experience or it can be a nerve racking panic inducing one. Front desk staff have always been great, greeting upon arrival and offering a drink.
