I’m not usually one to leave reviews but for this salon I HAVE to. First of all Kassie is the sweetest person I’ve ever met and easily the best hairstylist! I’ve been going to her since I went to my high school prom and always leave with a smile on my face.I usually get partial highlights, but have gotten a balayage before as well for my first time coloring my hair EVER. It’s hard to find someone that does highlights in the way that I want, but w Kassie she will work with you to give exactly what you want every time. Not to mention that I drive up from Florida to see her every few months because no one’s expertise compares to hers! Not only is Kassie great, but the salon is amazing too. They offer refreshments for when you sit down, and overall it’s a very welcoming environment that I look forward to going to. 🙂

Ashley and all of her staff are absolutely THE BEST! From keeping my long hair healthy, blonde, purple or whatever color I decide when I get there, to making myself and my wedding party look amazing on my wedding day, to playing roulette and chopping off 14 inches, her and her team nail it. I wouldn’t want anyone else doing my hair. Ashley has always been such a positive, upbeat and honest person that I look forward to sitting in her chair. I couldn’t recommend her and her staff enough!

I’ve been a client of Ashley’s for years now and love how much I can trust her to do whatever my hair needs to look its best! I recently had the honor of having her and Kim do the hair for our wedding. Everything turned out perfect, held up throughout the night, and they brought so much amazing energy to our bridal suite! I also get my brows/facials done by Johna and always leave looking my best. Let me just say, I love hair! I’ve probably gone to almost every hair salon in New York City and New Jersey trying out different hair stylists and salons… never has there been such a welcoming and cheerful environment. Everyone loves what they do here not a grumpy soul that walks this salon. I’ve had about 4 different stylists here and everyone has been consistent in doing a perfect job with my hair! Not only do they pride themselves in knowledge and hair products used but also extremely considerate and thorough about making sure you get exactly what you want. I have had my hair done by just about every stylist at Halogen. They are all wonderful, and it’s hard to choose a favorite. My most recent stylist is Kassie. She makes me feel so comfortable and free to be myself. I look forward to the experience every single time. My 7 year old daughter also utilizes their services and loves to come to the salon. They make her feel welcome and hype up her ideas, making sure both her and I are comfortable with each step of the process. Kassie even gave her pink leopard spots! I wouldn’t go anywhere else, and recommend them to everyone.

Ever since I found out about fashion color I was amazed at it and it took me a couple times to find the right stylist and salon. But once I met Ashley and started coming here it was the best thing I have ever done. I can honestly say that I just instantly clicked with Ashley she is definitely here to please her clients and work with them especially if you are on a budget. She actually takes the time to listen to you and go over your ideas she’s also very honest and will tell her if it’s not going to work and to me that’s the best a stylist can do not just agree with you and take your money and do their own thing and it’s not what you wanted. I’ve gotten to the point that I trust her so much for her to do what she wants with my hair and it always looks amazing. It’s definitely hard to find a relationship with a stylist like that and I’m glad I did. So if you want to feel and look amazing come see Ashley she is absolutely wonderful. The rest of the staff is also wonderful the atmosphere of the salon is amazing you are always made to feel welcome and you definitely feel relaxed as well when you are here. So if you are looking to pamper yourself come on in and have a consult with any of the staff and you will not be sorry you will love all the services they have to offer and you will walk out of here looking amazing and feeling so great about yourself.
