Steve is a phenomenal artist. I couldn’t be happier with my tattoo and my experience. Very clean shop. Relaxed atmosphere. Reasonable prices. With tattoos you get what you pay for. Worth every penny. The other side of the shop is a salon that offers an incredible array of services. Everything from hair styling to eyebrow microblading, permanent make-up and plasma lift skin tightening treatments. Very clean, very professional, very skilled, and very amazing.

Great place Everyone !! Took my lady to get her Eye brows done. They came out Great !! Halcyon is super clean which was really nice to see. The owners are very nice ppl and very knowledgeable in what they do. So ladies need them brows filled in or just a nice new set ? Get on down to Halcyon Tattoo and Salon.. there is 8 salon stations a tattoo parlor and a microblading station. So get a tatt get your hair cut and more. Great prices and top quality work thank you guys you were GREAT

I went to Halcyon last night for a cover up on my lower back. 21 year old me thought it was a good idea to have a name tattooed there by an unlicensed “artist”. 33 year old me thinks 21 year old me is an idiot and for over 10 years I lived every day feeling self conscious and hating that tattoo. I consulted with an artist at a different shop a while back who said it was just too dark and that I should use my money for laser removal. My husband went to see Dug Landry at Halcyon for a tattoo in tribute to his grandfather and showed him a picture of mine. Dug said right away that he could easily cover it so my husband put down a deposit and made the appointment for me. I wasn’t very picky about what he did so long as that name was covered. When I got to the shop he asked me what kind of things I liked. He came back with a beautiful rose and asked what my favorite colors were which again, I wasn’t very picky about. The shop is extremely clean and the interior decor is really cool and interesting to look at. The rest of the guys at the shop were really personable and friendly too. It was like hanging out with friends. Another thing I liked was the privacy. Because of the placement, I didn’t want to be out in the open where anyone who walked in could see me, but that wasn’t an issue because each artist has a private area to work. Before we started Dug checked all of the equipment and put a chair out for my husband to sit in. I was pretty happy that he could be there because I was nervous. Did it hurt? Yes, it hurt, but that’s to be expected. Dug was really cool about taking breaks when I needed them which helped a lot. I still have one more sitting for the rest of the color, but he made sure to stop at a point that looked good so that it didn’t look like it was unfinished when I left. I honestly wasn’t expecting to love this tattoo as much as I do, but it is absolutely beautiful and I’m so excited to have the rest of the color all filled in. If you’re like I was, walking around with a janky tattoo that you hate, go to Halcyon! Dug made it look like that name was never even there and I left with a restored sense of self confidence.

This is now also Halcyon Salon! And my very favorite stylist, Jodi has moved here. The salon is nicely, but not over-, decorated & very comfortable. And it really isn’t that far out of Portland.
