They cut my daughter hair with out my permission! I never cut her hair its my religious and spiritual beliefs! Not only did they cut her hair they chopped it up into layers! Now it drys into a big bush and she looks like a boy with short hair! Her nana took her there n did this. My child said she did not want her hair cut they told her this was the best thing for her! It’s horrible her hair was all one length and growing long and curly! Now you can’t take that back! You have blocked her spiritually for 3 years now and she can never go back to her purest form and not having those tools touch her hair! Before you cuts someones child’s hair maybe you should get permission from there parents and the person that cut her hair was fully aware that her mother did not want it cut. I just called to speak with the owner and the lady that answered the business phone was very ugly to me and hung up on me and I was not ugly to her not once. They do not know how to cut mixed kids hair they chopped my child’s hair up it’s not even layered right it’s short hair every where! Then her nana said she paid $200 that is sad $200 to cut someone else child’s hair knowing the mother didn’t wanted it cut your prices say $60 child haircut what the $140 was for bc you knew you had no business touching my child’s hair much less chopping it off! The bible says do not cut your hair! Y’all wrong for even putting tools in her hair with out her mother or father permission! Not only did I say do not cut my child’s hair but so did her father! My child said she told y’all my mom n dad will be mad n the lady that cut it told my child don’t worry they won’t be mad they going to love it! The bible again says do not cut your hair! That was not y’all choice and my child told the lady that cut it my mom n dad don’t want me to get my hair cut they going to be mad and bc her nana said don’t worry I’ma handle your parents that lady still touch my 9 year old daughter and cut her hair! If a child told me that I wouldn’t touch them and y’all had no business touching my child and cutting her beautiful long even curls! Now it’s all chopped up she looks like a boy! The bible says do not cut your hair who are you to take that from my child?!!!

A got my first devacut here in October last year. I have literally never been happier with my hair. Terri did a magnificent job of adding subtle layers to my hair so that it’s finally the perfect shape for me. I have very curly hair (like 3C) and I experience a lot of shrinkage so I was extremely happy when Terri was able to cut off a considerable amount of damaged ends without drastically chopping off a lot of my length I worked to grow. I’m not a huge fan of the devacurl products (the products work great but the smell is personally too strong for me) but I was also thankful to be able to try them out for the first time. I wish I still lived in the area because I would keep coming back to this wonderful salon.

Jill is FANTASTIC! I have never had a hair stylist who was so comfortable and confident with curly hair. She was also really efficient–most stylists complain a lot about my thick, curly hair. Jill made sure I was comfortable and reiterated to me that my hair was not a pain to deal with! She trimmed my ends and balayaged my hair. My hair looked GREAT when she was done!

My daughter “had” thick corkscrew curls past her shoulders which took years to grow. Brought her in for a devacut thinking it would give it a nice shape. She cut the top layer of hair 4 inches shorter than underneath and now her hair looks like a mushroom!! Horrible just horrible cut!! How is this a devacut??? Her hair is more thick and unmanageable and we even requested for her to not take a lot off just a trim!! Would not recommend for thick curly hair or she will chop it into all kinds of layers and you will regret it!l She contacted me and told me we need a good lesson on curls? We’ve had no problem in 12 yrs with my daughter’s curls so I don’t know how that fixes having the top layer of your hair chopped off 4 inches from the bottom? Why would we go back to someone that destroyed her hair?? No thanks !

Great salon to go to if you have curly hair! If you have curly hair, look up The Curly Girl method and Devacurl. The hair stylists here are very nice and patient and are experienced in cutting curly hair. They also have curly hair themselves, so they know your struggle! They told me what they were doing throughout the entire process and showed me what products to use for my type of curl and how to style it. I had already purchased Devacurl products beforehand, so they weren’t trying to sell me products (although they do sell them there). I’ll definitely be going back! Great experience!

My cut was ok. The styling that I had high hopes for did not happen They put me under a dome dryer and pretty much allowed my hair to dry flat. No volume at all. I have done better on my own by watching Manes by Mel and Curl ninja on YouTube Save your money because this is very pricey. Biggest disappointment ever.
