I went to see Lynn-Z for a consultation about a trim and extensions. I have been losing hair due to medical treatments, and was just basically feeling blah. I also have psoriasis on my scalp, so it is always embarrassing to get my hair cut. First of all, upon meeting Lynn-z, I felt like she had such a friendly personality. Even as she assessed my hair, she did it in a positive, upbeat manner. Rather than up-selling me extensions (which I sort of planned to do), she recommended just cutting everything a bit shorter (just above my shoulders) and adding bangs. I was resistant to getting bangs, because I hate to pay for another haircut when my bangs need trimming, so I just end up trimming them myself, which never ends well. Once she told me she offers free trimming for bangs, I was sold! After my haircut, she taught me some styling tricks to make my hair in the back seem thicker.
