Theres so much to unpack here. I saw Haiyas account on instagram after a couple of girls i went to highschool with went to her for lashes. Long story short i had a lash and brow tint appt with Haiya. My appt was at 4:30 i made it last week. In the confirmation email i was given no address and had to text her to ask for it. I am almost 40minutes out and in a car with no AC, for context :). I am halfway there, 20mins before my appt time and she texts me like ‘hey girl! i dont have the tint i wanted to use for you today in stock. are you free tomorrow?’ i said well im halfway there and no i am not free tomorrow. no reply. i text again ‘okay so im going to continue driving there then unless you tell me otherwise?’ no reply. i arrive to the address at what is a gravel parkinglot w a shack looking building with a small spray painted on wood sign on it. i walk up the broken stairs, open the door and am hit with the odor of marajuana. the salon is dark literally all the lights are off, i am in a dark hallway and nobody greets me. i stand there for a while until another customer comes in and walks into the one room with the light on and i follow her. She greets Haiya who is still with a client, pays her deposit and leaves. i am standing in the doorway and Haiya does not greet me. i say hi? and she says ‘are you my next appt?’ and motions me to sit down in the same room w her client on the table. She says she is almost done w her client. its a pretty barren room with 2 chairs a couple mirrors and a table. she is playing music and does not acknowledge me again. it is now 5 minutes past my appt time. i wait. 20 minutes! its is 20 minutes past my ticket time she is still working on her client and a man comes into the room w coffee for her. she stops working on her client to pull on his arm and hug and kiss him and talk to him. I wait til he leaves and ask for the bathroom. she says its down a long dark hallway and i book it the heck out of there. i walk out the front door, im not sure when she got done with her client or what tint she planned on using on me but it was not worth giving her a chance. she did not text me after i left. everybody starts somewhere but this was beyond rude and unprofessional. i will OBVIOUSLY NEVER be back and will never recommend her to anybody.
