Just met the nicest guy that works there that cut my daughter’s hair for free at a back to school event in the neighborhood. She was happy, I was happy, and great word of mouth for this salon which apparently in walking distance I had no idea. Sounds like I found my new place for them. She tends to like a more traditional boy style hair cut, and most places act like we don’t know what she wants, and keeps saying, “well are u sure, are u sure?” But he never felt any kinda way about it so that makes me happy, just did what she wanted, and made sure it was OK w me, while still talking to her for what she wanted.

I just stopped in for a simple haircut today. Never been there before. Waited 15 minutes at the lower level, where I was clearly visible. After 15 minutes, not even a ‘hello’ by the 3 employees there. I stepped up, and asked to get a haircut. The guy behind the desk motioned to an older guy with long blonde curly hair who was sitting down. Curly simply looked up over his glasses (he was busy reading a paper) at the fellow behind the desk – not at me – shrugged his shoulders, shook his head, and over his glasses smugly said, “I have one coming in.” I said “never mind,” and just left. My hair takes 15 minutes tops to cut. I’ll not darken their doorstep again. I took my time and money to a mans barber shop where I was treated with dignity as a respectable customer. I don’t even write negative reviews, but this was worthy.
