Janet is a great colorist! I loved how my color turned out. I received so many compliments. Janet was very nice and accommodating during the appointment process. While sitting and waiting for the coloring process she offered me drinks and snacks. She greeted every customer with a smile when they came in to asked for openings or pricing. Not to mention her pricing is reasonable. Not like other places who overprice hair coloring. I love this place. Parking was plenty and easy too.

Janet is AMAZING!!! I have been looking for a hair dresser/colorist in the east bay for a while now and decided to try out Hairology because all the great reviews. I’m so glad I did! Janet really takes care of the client. She’s meticulous with her work and craft. I got a cut and color. I wasn’t sure what to do to my hair and she helped me pick a color that she said would look best on me. I’m VERY happy with the results. Definitely will be coming back. If you’re thinking about making an appointment, just book it!! You won’t regret it. 🙂

My hair was pretty damaged from the my last coloring session at a different salon in Hayward (on B Street). It also came out waaay lighter than it should have been. Nightmare experience. I was looking for a salon nearby to correct this terrible hair job and filtered my search based on reviews and ended up at Hairology. Had a consultation first a couple of weeks prior to my appointment. Janet was thorough in explaining our game plan and told me how much it would cost. Day of the appointment went smoothly. Janet is great. Friendly and meticulously worked on my hair for HOURS. The whole thing took about 5 hours and she probably left me just less than 30 minutes the entire session while my hair processed but the rest of the time she was at it. She was friendly and enjoyed chatting with her in between reading my book. Marcella was friendly too, chitchatting with me here and there. Was given a refreshing seltzer which I enjoyed and appreciated the offer for a smoke break. The result was amazing. I’ve finally found my go to salon. This place, the people, are awesome. If you’ve been googling around looking for quality hair service in the area, this is IT. Five stars!
