I was a walk-in. Was greeted with smiles. A stylist quickly took me to her chair. I got a great consultation, fantastic hair cut, just what I wanted and the stylist asked plenty of questions to be sure she knew what I was looking for. I would name her but she’s moving out of state soon. =( The prices are great and the service is excellent. I have never had a bad experience at the Hawk’s Prairie HairMasters.

I live in the Lacey area and I feel as if I’ve been to every local hair salon/barber shop and have always been dissapointed to some degree. Today was my first time ever coming in and told them (I believe her name was Minny) exactly what I wanted and they had it spot on. It was probably the only time I’ve ever had a haircut and have been completely satisfied. I’ve also heard other reviewers sending complaints on their seemingly “no late” policy on appointments, which I must also say is very reasonable due to the time they put into their work while having a tight schedule. Overall, this is by far the best salon in the area I’ve seen and I will without a doubt be returning. Thank you !

I used to love this store but all of the employees have left. When I went in for a consult there were only two employees. I could tell one was a manager or owner. It’s just sad what this epidemic has done to these businesses. The reason for the three stars is the lack of some hair knowledge I felt for my particular hair. But, I’m willing to go in for my appointment and see how it turns out and give a fair review.

I’ll preface this by stating I have been a customer of this store for over 10 years. I had a 12:00 pm appointment for a haircut. I’m typically never tardy, however, I unfortunately arrived 10 minutes late. My stylist guite rudely said that she didn’t have enough time to give me a haircut because her next client was scheduled at 12:30 pm. I was only 10 minutes late!!! A simple haircut averages 15 – 20 minutes. I said I didn’t need to shampoo. I even offered a $20.00 tip if she could get me in and out quickly. NOPE!!!

This is now the only place I go to get my haircut. The ladies here know what they are doing and I enjoy getting my hair shampoo’d before getting a scissor cut. I’ve been out of the Army for about 20 years and I’m done with clipper cuts. I always come here before I have an interview.

I went to hair masters and wanted to be blonde like the picture in the left. I didn’t get anywhere near that. The manager is so rude!!. I have taken my girls here a couple of times and haven’t had the best experience. The one lady doesn’t listen to my girls and tells them what she thinks will look better. It also cost a fortune to get a shity hair color. The color was no where near what I wanted. I am luck I found a new place and the girl understands how to color hair so I don’t look stupid. I do not recommend this place at all.

The ONLY person at this site that I will let do* my hair is Vivian. She is only available on Fridays. I’ve read some of the reviews about rudeness and I think I know who people are talking about. There is one lady there that is NOT customer friendly and has zero compassion or people skills. She can be very curt and has been to me in the past. Where Vivian goes, I will follow. I don’t care about the others. Make your appointment a with Vivian!
