It was fine. Frank cut my hair. He was nice, real chatty, made it a point to make sure I liked my haircut and got what I paid for. He was quick and proficient, which is all anyone can ask of a barber. I don’t even like dinging them a star, but I can’t give a half star so 4 stars it is. Front desk person was polite and was able to schedule me same day on a Saturday morning: that is pretty darn good, especially in Monroeville. Nothing stands out as bad really. Thanks again for the cut.

Critical: QualityHorrible experience. I knew when Cathy shampooed my hair that it would be terrible. The salon was packed with people and uncomfortable for Covid compliance. It is not clean.I chose this salon because other reviews were good, but Cathy is not experienced enough and did not listen to what I wanted. The haircut was atrocious, leaving bangs irregular and in my eyes, though I repeatedly asked for them to be shorter. She was very fast and very unconcerned with my requests. I’ve never had a haircut where the hair wasn’t parted, sectioned and cut carefully. She just snipped away. At the end, hair all over me and my FEET?> Never has a stylist left hair all over me.Add to that loud political conversations from the barber side and all around and this was the most uncomfortable, horrible experience.I paid $35 for a poor haircut and an awful uncomfortable experience with Cathy who made it more uncomfortable.Service: HairstylingHorrible experience. The new employee Kathy at hair masters is the best !! Kathy takes her time with her clients. Kathy listens to what issue the client is having with there hair. Kathy even explains to her clients, as to how to really properly care for there hair issues. Kathy will explain what type product to purchase for your hair to save $$ and not waste $$$ on other products that cost extremely more $$ that damage/hurt your hair. Kathy is all around the greatest person to have working for the Salon.

Great haircuts at s fantastic price. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Why pay premium rates at another salon when you can get the same or better quality haircut at Hair Masters for much less? Love this place– wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I have had good experiences here..but my last 2 visits were not so good. The stylist could not give me dimensional highlights like I asked. I paid some money upfront bc the first time they messed up making the colors colliding with eachother. She told me to come back to fix it. Well this time its still NOT dimensional and faded. This is the fastest my hair has ever faded. One of the “owners” did not want to make good for this. I will not be coming back here. Not to mention I was given a tube of color that I cannot put in my hair…isnt that WHY people go to a salon?? Ur paying the STYLIST to do the work for you. I have been coming here for a while. I will find a new salon to fix what this salon will not!!! Very disappointed….
