Her assistant Sam was a total delight and both of them Showed how clean and sanitized everything was in the shop. Upon arrival, Arlene took my temperature and gave me hand sanitizer immediately! There is NO one better for color & highlights (and anything else, but a great colorist is VERY hard to find outside of NYC) than Arlene at Hairmania in Oceanside… I constantly get compliments on my hair. The shop is clean & beautiful & always decorated so nicely for holidays. But for me, as a law firm manager, I must always look my best – and Arlene keeps me looking top-notch, which isn’t always easy with all my grey/white hair underneath this great color and highlights!! You will not be disappointed.

Hairmania is a beautiful salon in Oceanside. I have been coming here since it opened and have known the owners for about 20 years. Arlene has been my colorist and hair stylist for that long as well. In the past no other colorist could get my color right and understand what I wanted, but with Arlene that all changed. I am always getting compliments on my hair, and always recommend her and Hairmania.

After feeling very drab, upon the advice of my sister and a friend, I decided to try someone new. I loved their online site, and the salon is just as nice inside. Arlene listened to me, and gave me a style I always wanted to try with my curly hair. 3 months and many compliments later I am very happy. The best was today when I wanted to try something new with my color, loving red but hating how it fades . Uncertain of what to try, Arlene did some highlights she called chunky and a beautiful shade of brown. The colors worked so good with each other I was just speechless.

If you want a hollywood hairstyle then Arlene is the right person at this place!!!! I did my hair with her for my wedding and for some other events and always was asked the contacts of the hair master and got tones of compliments! She is just the best!!!
