I’m not sure who answered the phone on the day I called but, let me tell you the woman was rude… first of all what if it was my first time calling the establishment? The phone call went like this… Woman answers “Loft”. Me excuse me is this the Hair Loft? Yeah that’s what I said..oh excuse me I was wondering if I need to make an appointment for 2 haircuts for two young boys. I’m usually pretty happy with the service here. But today I took my daughter to get a haircut and it was cut much shorter than she wanted. The woman ( I did not get her name) did a poor job washing it, and it is extremely uneven! I mean I don’t know how a professional stylist could manage to cut her hair so uneven. Only the owner knows how to cut hair, if you get it cut by anyone else don’t bother telling them how you want it done. The reason being is they only know how to cut it 1 way, the exact opposite of what you ask for Haircut

Left hair everywhere.. didn’t sweep in between clients. Didn’t really care to say hi to my children who were getting cuts. Absolutely terrible bang trim..I had to have her correct then I think she messed up my daughter’s bangs on purpose.. or she was just that bad. I fixed her bangs at home. My son wanted a faux hawk and definitely got a weird fade.. I tried talking to the girl and she was completely unreceptive. Threw them a $20 and ran out of there.. worst haircuts in Elmira.

Had to go to another salon after I got my hair cut here to get it fixed. So I paid $50 today for a trim plus tips. The back was uneven, the “layers” were very harsh/choppy and way to short for the length and looked like they were cut straight across. When I called to tell a manager about my experience she laughed and just kept saying okay. Very disappointed and will not be returning
