The stylists are independent business owners working collaboratively under one roof; you can tell they are all talented and passionate about their trade. This isn’t your run-of-the-mill salon. Many of the stylists are very experienced and top notch within their niche – their prices and individualized customer care are reflective of that skill and knowledge. Great salon! The environment is clean, professional, beautifully decorated, and wonderfully lit. The stylists are independent business owners working collaboratively under one roof; you can tell they are all talented and passionate about their trade. This isn’t your run-of-the-mill salon. Many of the stylists are very experienced and top notch within their niche – their prices and individualized customer care are reflective of that skill and knowledge. I drive from out of town to see Pixie (Offbeat Beauty) and couldn’t be happier every single time.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueRun! Newer to Grand Haven and attempted to find a salon. This is NOT the place. I have fine, thin hair and like foils 3-4 times a year. I have never felt so ripped off or disappointed. When booking appointment for partial foil I was quoted $85. I was booked with who was available. Arrived and she was on a mission to cut my hair even after I declined 3x I really did not want it cut she said it’s a dusting of your ends you need it. 3 snips of my ends, an undetected amount trimmed so would never have thought she would charge $55 haircut! Then, 20 foils (too fine to notice) at the crown and a toner. Sloppy blow out, still damp. Charged $200! So awkwardly shocked I’ve never not tipped a service provider at checkout and regretfully added tip. I Was told I had 7 days for adjustment which was not honored when I reached out. There people and salons with integrity and good ethical business practices this place with who I saw is not one of them.Service: Hair highlightingRun! Run! Newer to Grand Haven and attempted to find a salon. This is NOT the place. I have fine, thin hair and like foils 3-4 times a year. I have never felt so ripped off or disappointed. When booking appointment for partial foil I was quoted $85. I was booked with who was available. I ended up spending about twice as much as I anticipated. I had my hair pulled hard when she was foiling, and my scalp scalded when she washed it. There were no refreshments offered, no scalp massage. I about died when she told me the cost ($325). The color and cut wasn’t anything special. Save yourself time and money, go somewhere else. This was my first time going to this salon, and I will not be going back!! I admit I should have done my homework, but I thought they would be comparable to other salons in the area. The person I saw was overpriced ($55 for a haircut). I also had color done, and ended up being there for 4 hours….She ended up doing WAY more foils than I asked for.
