Critical: ProfessionalismI arrived as a walk-in, calling before hand. I want to preface this with, walk-in or appointment client, I generally never mind waiting, but I do missed opportunities to be kind as an unacceptable business trait.My 6 year old son needed a hair cut. We arrived, all 4-5 cosmologists were busy, we took a seat. This is also a small salon. NOT ONE PERSON SPOKE. NOT a “hi welcome to Haircuts by the square”, “we’ll be with you shortly”, “what are you needing today, or did you have an appointment?” Literally, nothing. My kids sat down, I grabbed some dry shampoo off the shelf to buy. So, here I am, an un-greeted customer with product in hand, still no acknowledgement. First cosmologist checks a lady out, acknowledges me with a half smile and still no verbal acknowledgment. At this point, none of them (to my knowledge) have any idea why I’m there. I’m thinking, okay- here it comes. She’s finished with a customer, now she’s going to greet me. Nope. She walked away. Minutes pass. Second cosmologist checks a man and children out, again, half smiled at me and walked away. More minutes pass, the first lady (shorter hair) answers a call, from what I can it’s about a walk-in client.. she comes to me and says “your here for a hair cut?” I said “well, my son.” She just turns back to the phone and says “we have 1 here so come on!” Unsurprised at this point, she hangs up and walks away again. Minutes pass. A third cosmologist checks her client out, half smiles at me, and walks back to her chair. Inside, I was about to bust. We left.I would have waited until the very last client, that’s not the complaint of this review. But there was no reason under any circumstance that I could not have been greeted, asked what I was there for, updated on a wait time, anything. I have never. So, while most reviews were positive, I would imagine they are from longtime friends and clients. Not walk-ins. I hope this review changes your social interaction with new clientele because it was by far in the top 3 most rude places I’ve been in Hernando, MS. the other 2 are fast food, so.I arrived as a walk-in, calling before hand. Kaye was very polite, professional and knew what she was doing. I would recommend this place to my friends.Service: Haircut

Critical: QualityDO NOT COME HERE they made my hair entirely too short. I showed them a picture of someone with moderately long hair and they decided to chop off 2 inches. very disappointed wouldn’t come here again.Services: Haircut, Hairstyling
