You can always walk-in for cuts 7 days a week. Color/perms/formal styles require appointments. Bringing inspiration pics with you always give us a better understanding of what you want. Maybe posting this honest review will make me feel better about loosing my $289.00 from the stylist here. Double that including the color correcting I have had to pay for 2x for me to attempt to get my hair to a somewhat a normal color. I want to start by saying I appreciate the positive reviews. That is EXACTLY the reason why I chose to come here after my normal girl canceled on me last minute (family emergency). I was just wanting partial highlights for my birthday trip my family and I were taking and wanted to look my best! Courtney Chatman was very sweet initially on the meet and greet. Long story short, when I left. My hair had bright orange highlights with spots, (like leopard spots) the toner turned the bottom of my hair a green grey. I was told the toner will wash out and it would look better. My hair was darker when I left than when I went in. Which is ironic when you go in for highlights??? It looked horrible. My whole Birthday trip every picture we took, I had to make sure we were super far away so no one could see how bad my hair looked. It was horrible and I cried a lot. I reached out to her and asked to please fix asap. Her lack of concern to help fix my hair in a timely manner was troubling. I was in hysterias. So basically she had no problem with me walking around with orange, green and grey hair for 7 days. Not recommending someone else to fix or working me in to help me and fix her mistake. I had filed a claim on my credit card to dispute the transaction and canceled it today. I reached out and asked if I could at least get partial of my money back. (thinking we can resolve this issue civilly) also hoping she would be accountable for her mistake. She denied my request. The unprofessionalism and lack of concern for her customers when she makes a mistake is super appalling. I have spent so much more money going to get my hair fixed for a mistake she made and was not concerned to fix nor refund me any money back (some of the $289.00 was a tip, out of common courtesy) which she has a lack of. Soooo with this being said. Not all the reviews are great. I hope when I am done typing this it lets me post a picture to help understand my tears.

I’m autistic and have hair loss, so I hate getting my hair cut professionally. Not to mention it’s usually expensive for a broke grad student. I’ve lived in the area for almost 5 years and had my hair cut twice. Yesterday was my first time going to Whitney’s, and I’m not going anywhere else as long as I’m here! I got my hair done by Whitney herself, and she was fantastic! She was super nice, understanding, non-judgmental and down-to-earth. And $24 for long hair is a price that cannot be beat, especially for a cut from someone with almost 20 years experience. I really appreciate what you do, Whitney. Keep it up! If anyone is thinking about trying them out, do it, and bring cash so she doesn’t have to pay transaction fees for card payments! Thanks again, Whitney!

My hair stylist Hailey gave me the worst hair experience I’ve ever had. Her hair didn’t look like it was cared for. It was bright yellow, black, and orange. She was ruder than any hair stylist had ever been to me. I asked her how much it was and she said “I don’t do math” she gave me options, I told her what I wanted, and then she said “I can’t do that.”. WOW. I’ve always had good experiences here but this was the worst. Good luck!

Overall good experience at the salon. My stylist was a nice lady. I was however a bit shocked when I was charged the most I’ve ever been for what appears to only be a partial highlight? The entire underside of my hair is brown, which is a very stark difference from the blonde on-top. I wanted my previous balayage blended out. The top looks good, but the very obvious brown underneath doesn’t look great side-by-side so I was a bit disappointed by that.
