Are you tired of going to one of those Chain Chop Shops where you’ll get your mop remodeled by a green-haired, Beauty School graduate just back from Grad Night at Disneyland??? And afterwards, you were afraid to look in the mirror??? I was. So when a friend suggested I check out The Haircut Shop in Downtown A-Town, I figured I only had the last of my sanity to lose. I’m so glad I did. It had been years since I had a Professional cut my hair. Guylene is Experienced, Professional, Entertaining and a good listener. It’s a comfortable shop and an enjoyable visit, every trip. But the main thing…I don’t have to wear a baseball cap for 2 weeks. This is a great place to get your shaped and cut!

This is a small one barber shop. If you go earlier within the first three hours she opens you usually won’t have to wait to get your haircut. After that, there will usually be 1 or 2 people there so a little bit of a wait. With just 2 other people if can get a little cramped but bad. The barber is nice and tries to have a conversation with you. The haircut is fairly cheap at $13. If you want something other than a basic trim I would recommend going somewhere else though. It’s a plain haircut, you won’t leave with an amazing haircut but you will have a nice manageable trim.
