Took my little brother here 7/12/2020. Older man cut his hair and it came out amazing. He was the only one wearing gloves mask and eye protection here. Be careful here, not everyone who comes in wears a mask and their workers too.

I went there to get a haircut a couple of weeks ago, and they almost wouldn’t take me. For what reason, I don’t know. I had money, I was dressed normally. There was no reason why I should have been refused at all. So I after I asked why no one would take me, someone finally took me. She did an okay job, and the haircut was cheap, so I left as satisfied as one would be after such an ordeal. Then I come in for a haircut today, and I ask for the same woman, she takes me within 10 minutes, which is awesome! I was very excited and hopeful for the opportunity to have found a new barber in Takoma, after having recently moved here. She cut my hair fine, and asked if I’d like to keep my beard, I said yes, please. And yet, amidst talking to another co-worker, she cuts off my beard. Just takes a chunk out of it. I was very upset, but I made sure not to make an ordeal of it, so as not to cause any trouble. But she was very, very rude to me throughout the rest of the time, and when I went to the front desk asking for a discount due to this hugely messed up haircut, they did nothing for me. It’s a very huge thing to trust someone with the way you look, and Haircut 2000 completely disregarded that and messed me up, big time. I will never go back again.
