I have gone through so many different stylists and salons over the last 6-7 years, never quite finding someone who helps bring out the best *me* when it came to my hair. Back in December, I spontaneously decided to make an appointment at Hair491 when my balayage needed to be touched up and it was by far one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Everyone here is so so nice and committed to/passionate about what they do. You can literally see how much they care about their clients and how genuine they are.

Gabrielle is amazing! She definitely knew how to deal with my curly hair and how to properly cut it. She assessed my hair before the big chop to see what would fit best for me and even catered to my ridiculous requests. She gave me so many tips and tricks on how to take care of my hair because it’s super thick, curly, & dry at the ends. Her advice definitely has been making my hair happy. Thank you Gabrielle!

Overall amazing service. I called in with an issue and they had me text them pics of my hair so they could actually see it and tell me what services I needed. Nat is literally my hero, she fixed my whole head after I tried to tone it myself and accidentally lightened my roots. She was patient with me, transparent about the limitations of the final result given what I came in with, and what I was left with was perfect. I will be recommending this place and Nat to all my friends and family.

I was able to get a last minute appointment at 491 hair salon for a blowout and I am amazed with my results! The staff were very friendly and made me feel like I was at the spa. They were also able to recommend some great hair products that I am eager to try!

Hello all my stylist is Gabby and I don’t go anywhere else. sometimes the you get what you pay for is the truth. Exceptional service before I walk in the door. If there is a parade they let me know. If the parking lot is closed they let me know and Gabs knows what I like and makes suggestions accordingly. I have limited time to waste and she makes it happen every time did a video on TikTok on her @ unapologeticallycurvy. When you know you know and I know she is my go to girl and I drive 40 minutes to get to her. **chefs kiss
