Critical: ProfessionalismPOSSIBLE SCAM. I made an appointment with Danielle through social media, after searching for someone who was willing to do one on one appointments. I gave her a $50 deposit as per her policy to “hold my place” & which would go towards the cost of my visit. When I parked at her salon, I realized then that it was on the second floor – and with the pandemic, the gates to the steps up there were locked. I tried to call her, but never had a phone number to contact her with. I tried to call the salon, but was having internet connection issues. All of a sudden, I get a text from her saying “Hey, I’m going to have to cancel your appointment due to my cancellation policy!” and i tried to call her, to see if I could get a gate code to get up there, but she wouldn’t answer. I texted her saying I was there, I was just locked out! She just texted me saying, “Sorry! I’m already gone.” This was NOT a cancellation, I drove an hour to get there, and I was at the building, I was just locked out – maybe Google Maps had me park at the wrong side, but as a new client, I was never given direction advice or parking advice or a note saying “If you need it, the gate code is:…” NOTHING. She waited until the time mark on her policy to reach out to me and tell me she cancelled. She acted condescending, and didn’t try to see if I needed help, or if I was lost, or anything – she just asked if I wanted to pay ANOTHER, NEW deposit and reschedule. She did nothing to resolve the issue. IT FELT LIKE THE BIGGEST SCAM. Please just be careful and don’t let this same situation happen to you, too. I told her she wasn’t acting professional. She offered zero customer service. I understand she has a policy, most places do, but what she was referencing was specifically a cancellation policy, and this was not a cancellation! I was there!
