I was new to the shop referred by a friend who has been seeing Annie for years. She has her own spot right in the corner of the shop. She is very intellectual when talking about hair do’s and don’ts. I was very happy because she understood I had another stylist I was using that chopped my hair a lot more than needed when getting my ends trimmed. She let me know she would only trim a little bit at a time never a huge chop. I will definitely be using her again very grateful she was able to squeeze me in with short notice.

(LONG RANT) I was in need of hair wash and condition and they did not fell I was referred there by someone to Tracy and let me just say I don’t just let anyone mess with my hair but I’m a traveling nurse and could not walk around looking crazy I called spoke with Tracy mom Ms. Galine she said Tracy could not take me but she could and said I could come on in I arrived and walked in and everyone was pleasant I spoke with Tracy told her I was referred to her but it was no big deal just was having convo with her about how I found them then Ms. Galine (mom) took me to the back washed and conditioned me mind you I took braids down and did not comb my hair she had patience did not complain then she sat me under dryer to deep condition unbeknownst to me Tracy came and washed me out and took me on as a client even though she did not have to because I was good with moms I say all that to say expect GREAT service and compassion because anybody else could of said NO but she took time to go ahead and take me and I am more than satisfied it was just like I was home back in FL getting my hair done… I appreciate them so much and will be back as long as I am here…

Mrs Tracy, the shop owner, is an amazing woman with some skills!!! Go go see Carine to get my dreads done on the regular. Good atmosphere, down to earth people, and there’s even a barber there!

Set up an appointment to get my hair trimmed and was able to get my hair pressed too. Tracey did a great job with my virgin hair! She was able to get it very straight and even put a little curl in it. She trimmed just enough to keep my ends healthy without going overboard. The only thing I didn’t like was that my visit was 2.5 hours.

Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityI really wanted and needed to like this place but unfortunately that didn’t happen. I’ll start off by saying the people are really nice but the business is unprofessional. I had an appointment at 3 pm and didn’t get started till 5 pm. Then after sitting for almost an hour for a 15 min deep conditioner I got up to find my stylist, Annie. She was with another client and told me that she needed more time and that my style was going to take way more time than I had. I needed to be out by 7 and reminded her my appointment was at 3 which should have allowed plenty of time! I was so upset, almost cried because I had an event that evening. Fast forward she rinses my conditioner out and I tell her I will have to leave because there would be no way to get things done on time. Very nicely, though I was shocked she said “okay, that will be $25 for the wash.” The wash that took TWO hours out of my day, the wash that I provided the conditioner for and cap…I’m just lucky my parents raised me right because at this point I almost lost it. I politely said I wasn’t paying that seeing how my appointment was at 3 and it was 5:30 and I couldn’t get what I came for. I was nervous about my natural hair after having braids for 6 months, and then went to Tracy for the first time. I love my style and cut! She listened to what I wanted, and gave me great healthy hair tips. This shop does seem to be busy, but definitely worth it. I will be back 🙂

The staff is always kind and like family. The hair stylist know what they’re doing and they’ll definitely hook you up. I get my braids done by Carine. She’s professional, straightforward, kind, and always on point. I highly recommend this place. They also do children’s hair-I saw Tracy help a young 2-3 year old girl today and she was so good with her! As always (especially in the service industry), abide by the golden rule.

Today was my first experience with Hair Works and it was amazing!! I walked in for more information and to try to get an appointment. Tracy was able to fit me in today and she worked wonders on my hair! I am extremely happy with the services I received!! Thanks to Tracy, I look and feel fabulous for my birthday tomorrow!! Thank you so much Tracy!! I will DEFINITELY be coming back!!
