Anna is a Baldwin Beauty School trained hair stylist as are several of the other stylist who work at Hairworks. This is important because the traing at Baldwin is exceptional. Anna really listens to my requests and clarifies if I’m not explaining well enough. She’s been my stylist for three years now and I still love how she does my cut and color. I get compliments all the time.

My daughter(18) went in for a color yesterday. She wanted a full color to match her extension(blonde)she brought in. After 4 hours, she came home with 2 inch red roots. She went in this morning to have the roots fixed-seriously obvious red roots that she wanted blonde. After another 6 hours today, my daughter now has white hair with orange streaks. Her hair is completely ruined. The hair dresser charged her another $140 for this ‘fix’ which should have been done at no charge. I would have given this place a zero rating, but that wasn’t a choice. I called Hairworks back and the hairdresser argued with me that my daughter’s hair was a several step process. B.S. Her appointment was yesterday, not yesterday and all day today with multiple charges and ruined hair. I told the hairdresser I couldn’t believe she charged her again. She told me I should just call back for the manager.

I went in last week to get my tips dyed blonde and the one who was doing my hair, Summer, was very friendly and very helpful. She would tell me stories of her newborn child. The only reason I didn’t rate 5 stars is because it took longer than expected for mh hair to be done. I wanted it blonde but I had red before so my hair was stubborn and tried to be orange. It is still not as light as I wanted it, so, she said I could come back this week and she would do another round of lightener for free! I am happy with that!
