After a year of not having a haircut due to covid, I finally broke from my own covid protocols to have my hair cut and colored. I chose Hair Unlimited as I wanted a new place for a new me and I’d heard for a long time about the masterful work done by owner Mary Herbert. Everything I heard is true. First let me start with how comfortable I was with their covid protocols – mask wearing, limited # in the salon and the constant cleaning. Next, as someone new to them (which I alerted them to when making the appointment) they took the time at the appointment to ask questions and listen to me to be sure I was happy with the look I’d leave with (I certainly was). Next, due to a timing situation (due to me, not them), another stylist — Danni – did my color and Mary did my cut. Danni was fun and personable and did a beautiful color with highlights. She guided me to just the right shade and I love it. Next up, the cut. Mary is an expert and a lovely person! I’ve got naturally curly hair so finding a person who well knows how to cut curls is super important to me. My hair looks amazing – yes even after I washed and styled it myself at home a few days later. While this was my first visit, it certainly won’t be my last. A special thanks to the owner, Mary. After a little miscommunication with our appointment booking, Mary went above and beyond to take care of my daughter and I. She single handily multitasked a spiral perm on my daughter while doing an all over color, and cut on me. I highly recommend Hair Unlimited. Thank you for taking care of us Mary. Pleasant company and my stylist did a wonderful job on my hair. However, she gave me unwanted advice and essentially told me I shouldn’t take chances with my hair because I have to walk around with it. This didn’t strike me as very good advice when I was asking for a particular color and style that, honestly, was not taking that big of a chance. I went somewhere else and got exactly what I asked for and received nothing but compliments on my desired style and cut.

My hair turned out nice but I definitely won’t be returning for the price of $140.00 for a partial foil and cut. I reviewed their price list which does not come close to what I was charged by Mary. I also checked back at my prior visit costs by the same stylist and did not pay that high of a price. I felt taken advantage of.

This place is amazing! They took me as a walk in hair emergency and Brandi transformed my hair into absolutely fabulous in just a few hours. Everyone there is so nice and the atmosphere is comfortable. I highly recommend this salon to everyone! This is my new favorite place!
