My entire wedding party got our hair and makeup done a few weeks ago for my wedding and everyone loved their look. Our makeup and hair stayed for the entire event flawlessly (even through some drizzly rain!). Anna, Isabelle, Sophie and the rest of the staff were all so nice and very professional. I came to Hair Unique in a total panic after being left without a hair and make up artist for the day of my wedding. I wouldn’t be able to come back into town before the wedding, and it was almost impossible at that point to get a appointment for my wedding day anywhere else without coming into town for a consultation first. A lovely woman at the desk assured me that they would be able to accommodate me, and a wonderful young woman by the name of Isabell volunteered to come in early the day of my wedding to do my hair and make up. I had no idea what to expect and was a little nervous, but Isabell was totally professional and did a beautiful job. I had a large flower half wreath and a jeweled piece that had to get anchored in my hair and she did an absolutely amazing job, the make up and the hairstyle lasted all day. I came to Hair Unique in a total panic after being left without a hair and make up artist for the day of my wedding. I went into Hair Unique on a Thursday evening at 6. I went in for a brow wax and they took me right away. My stylist Sarah was so nice – I asked her if by chance she could give me a color and haircut. Well, I got the best hair color and cut I have ever gotten! I kept Sarah and some other staff late and there wasn’t a single complaint! All the staff were pleasant and welcoming and the salon is clean and up to date with all the latest products to purchase. Went to get my hair done with Maureen. She took her time coloring my hair. Great attention to detail. It came out perfect. She used two different colors to fit the needs of my hairs current situation which had a few different shades in there. She had it blended out nicely when all was said and done. While cutting my hair she studied the photo I gave her and listened to exactly what I wanted. It came out beautiful. We worked as a team to get my exact image. She didn’t try to tell me what would look good and force me to have it like many stylists have done to me. She listed to my needs and made it happen. SO IMPORTANT! The color and cut was fantastic. My hair is very short and that’s scary to find a stylist who knows how to cut short hair. She did it! Highly recommend this salon.

My daughter, who is not from New England, recently used Hair Unique for herself, her three bridesmaids, sister, tween-age nieces, mother, and future mother-in-law. The salon opened earlier than normal on a Saturday morning to accommodate everyone. Each person was asked what style they would like – and then were given it by the stylist. Almost everyone had long hair, but the fancy braids, updo’s, and curls seemed to present no problems for the Hair Unique stylists. Everyone was extremely pleased with the work done and the results that lasted all day.
