Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueMarlena is an exceptional hairstylist and so is her mother, Flo. Not only do they use top quality hair products, but they also provide a plethora of resources and contact information for anything pertaining to event planning, catering, educational resources, career planning, spiritual counseling and the list goes on and on. Marlena has even encouraged me to try new styles to help me come out of my shell – as I often become complacent in a style and tend to wear it out. Lol. When I leave the salon, I feel not only pampered – but I feel uplifted. Their multifaceted services have been a life line for me as I grieve the passing of my mother. One of my last two-way conversations with my mom was in their salon photo studio so that I could have a private virtual chat with my mom when hospitals were not allowing visitors. I will never forget it. If that’s not going above and beyond, I don’t know what is. Pictured below is my flex-rod style from today. Marlena is an exceptional hairstylist and so is her mother, Flo. Not only do they use top quality hair products, but they also provide a plethora of resources and contact information for anything pertaining to event planning, catering, educational resources, career planning, spiritual counseling and the list goes on and on. I wanted to cut my hair and after hearing so many good things about Marlena’s work I decided to give Hair Under Construction a go! If I could give my experience ten stars I would!! Everything was phenomenal from the service, the cleanliness of the salon and just the overall experience. I gave Marlena free range to do what she wanted and I Love my new cut!!
