This store is the worst. I can’t believe black people go in this store. The man that worked in there today literally watched the customer as if they was shopping lifting. No peace of mind while shopping they make you feel like you are stealing. It’s one thing to be alert but today was over kill. It was the worst thing I ever witnessed with racism. A white shoplifter can come clean up because they won’t experience that behavior. BLACK PEOPLE PLEASE SHOP WHERE You ARE WANTED NOT USED. These folks love making money off of black WOMEN and still treat them all like criminals. I never experienced anything like this in my life and the man do not hide that he is looking at you shop. I AM GOING TO PROTEST IF I CAN GET SOME PEOPLE TO JOIN IN! THIS WAS NOT OKAY!

I love coming here, I don’t understand what all the fuss is about. The young lady gave me a discount card so everytime I come in I get points. Well I left mines home so she gave me a discount. I thought that was very nice of her. I’ll keep coming here.

Purchase here at your own risk! The owner is very discriminatory toward persons of color, following them around the store as if they’re going to steal and speaking in an aggressive manner when making inquiries. If he feels leery about you based on how you look, he follows you and stares at you and will even make you leave his store (doesn’t matter that you’ve done nothing wrong). He speaks to his employees of African descent very rudely, arguing in front of customers in which he has done this on numerous occasions. Many persons of color patronize this business only for the owner to act in this manner toward faithful customers and employees.

Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueJust walk inside and look down at the floor, look at the shelves. Now maybe that’s something I can look past just a little it is just a hair store right? However it seems to be a sore thumb and a pain stake in the community as this establishment does not deal in the best business ethics. As Any consumer can walk in and clearly see the items are grossly and strategically marked up several dollars from its neighboring competitors such as the Family Dollar and other hair specific stores in its area. Hard items break easily the return policy is impossible, workers promise you things that don’t actually happen and what is worse Is the practice of double charging innocent customers I encourage you do not patronage this establishmentJust walk inside and look down at the floor, look at the shelves. I’m completely disappointed. My friends and i came into the store today to purchase a wig, the lady that was assisting me completely started ignoring me then started following my friends around the store accusing them of stealing. I Come to hair town for all of my hair needs but never again. They are prejudice and rude as hell. I use to recommend Hair Town to all my friends, I will no longer do that.

I wanted to browse the hair dye section and it was very diverse. It wasn’t too expensive so I bought two bottles. The staff mostly ignored me but were nice when I checked out. You’ll have to check your bags at the door.

It’s a typical beauty supply store. The owner isn’t visibly present, but the way the store is patrolled and the customers are watched makes it feel a tad uncomfortable. I’ve never stolen anything, and never will, but it’s apparent that they view everyone as a potential thief.
