Was in town from New York, Christmas week, and was looking to get a root touch-up. Angela made time for me. The shop was blend of modern and rustic. Angela was friendly and worked with me to pick the right color. Products used after washing smelled great and my curls are bouncy and vibrant. Was taken aback by the $100 bill; usually spend $50-$60 in my Long Island neighborhood. Am grateful she took me; will certainly ask for price AHEAD of time in the future.

I’ve been going here since I moved to MS after my husband was stationed here. I am not someone who trusts new stylists easily because my hair is blonde and super long but T has taken care of me since day 1! These are the sweetest group of stylists you’ll ever meet and they exceed all expectations as soon as you sit in their chair. I tried to book an appointment through Vagaro with Kassie Dixon. I choose the date and the service ( color correction+ bang trim). I received a text from the stylist asking me for a picture of my hair and an idea of what I want. She told me she needed it to see my hair if it could fit in her schedule. I send her everything the day after and she never text me back. I tried to reach her again to make she she got everything but again she never reply and she did not confirm the appointment on Vagaro. She could have said that she was busy or something but no. I AM so disappointed but I read some other reviews that said that if you’re not local don’t go there! Anyway, I can’t help but think that maybe she did not like the way I looked or maybe I am not the type of customer that she wants. It seemed like a good salon but her attitude is unprofessional and very rude.

This place is in a super neat location and relaxing. It doesn’t feel like your standard salon. It feels like you’ve stepped into a quaint shop or home while still being fresh and modern at the same time. The stylists are GREAT at what they do. I find it a LITTLE pricey but to be honest, for me at least, it’s worth it to be confident in how i look.

The decor is top notch (especially those beautiful chandeliers!) and ties in beautifully with the old southern charm. Outside of the great atmosphere, the quality of work produced here by every employee is incredible. The quality and hospitality of everyone who works there is 10/10. Literally everyone is a pleasure to speak with and makes you feel right at home. I’ve been to literally every hair salon on the coast and this one is by far the best. My wife loves it because they color her hair just the way she wants it every time, and I love it because they do the close shave and massage like the old school barber shops… And my kids love it cuz they make it a fun experience and last but not least, my wallet loves it the most!

Huge shoutout to Angela at Hair+Tonic Salon in Gulfport! I walked in with a bad color job and walked out with seriously gorgeous hair!! If you are in the Gulfport/Biloxi area, you have to come see her!! She is an amazing color correction artist!! Best part, we did it all the healthy way! My hair is smoother than ever!!
