I made an appointment with Sarah based on a friend’s recommendation. She pays attention to details and answered any hair questions I had clearly. She continuously checked in with me to make sure that the cut looked like I wanted, and was able to answer any questions that I had. For cutting, washing, and blow drying my hair, the price was slightly on the more high end side of salons, but still decently priced and very worth it. The lady that washed my hair was also super nice, and she and Sarah were both gentle with my hair.

Well the good news is that there are PLENTY of other Korean hair salons within a 5 mile radius if that’s what you’re looking for.

Please don’t get your hair cut with Yohan. This was the worst cut I have gotten in many years. Cherry on top, he decided to cut more of my hair after they washed it. But he forgot to put my robe back on. He did it so quick, I couldn’t stop him, I had bits of my hair all over my white sweater as I paid and walked out.

I don’t know if that’s what the average price of a hair salon around is, but the price of a men’s haircut (including a tip) is not cheap (almost $50), That’s Ok. anyway, I paid a high price and became the worst hairstyle of my life. I don’t like it very much. I’ll never come again.

Yoshan did my hair here. I asked for a balayage and got streaky blonde. The salon was clean and the staff were friendly but I was not happy with the outcome. Yoshan spent so much time on my hair and I am so impressed he was able to lighten my virgin black hair to a bright blonde, but he wasn’t able to blend the color into my natural black. Leaving me with patchy stripes.

They messed up my scheduling and I had to come in an hour earlier than expected. I had to leave work early and use PTO. When I came, they told me that my original time was correct but saw the note that someone had mistakenly told me to come at the wrong time. My stylist Johan seemed irritated that his schedule was messed up and I offered to just wait around until my original appointment time. He insisted that he would cut my hair now and when I told him I was sorry about the mix up he told me to stop arguing with him. I don’t know why he was giving me an attitude when I was trying to be accommodating and not mess his schedule up. He ended up rushing my haircut and preemptively washing my hair after 10 minutes cutting. I told him I was unhappy with the length as I wanted a short hairstyle, but he didn’t seem to care. He ended up getting a bunch of hair on my face because he cut it again after washing it and messed up my haircut and did not cut it like he normally does. I came in at 3:58 pm, he was on the computer looking up the mix up and started my haircut at 4:08pm and finished at 4:27pm. I still paid and tipped him, but I will not be coming back to this place after coming for years. I didnt appreciate the attitude or the rushed haircut. Normally this place is great, but am I shocked about how they treated me today. Definitely not coming back.

I had Johan. It was rushed, cut within ten minutes. Very rough style of cutting, a lot of tugs and pulls, I had to tell him to be gentler with the close trimmer. Not worth the $50 for men’s hair. Won’t be returning Hairstyling, Bang trim
