Critical: ProfessionalismThe experience with stylist, Amor, was extremely poor. She was combative, angry and unreasonable. She inquired about my preferred do’s and don’ts regarding my hair and became quite combative when I spoke about my choice. In addition, she continuously raised her voice about my hair choice, would ask questions, would not let me respond and then deemed me angry. When I mentioned another preference she aske me how it was done. I informed her she was the professional and she screamed, “Are you questioning my professionalism?!” I was clearly confused. She then asked me to leave.Upon my departure I noticed bundles of my hair on the floor outside the suite. When I asked about it she indicated I put it there. I knew that was not possible because after she washed my hair she was across the room from me and behind me and I was not near my hair Though I did notice while waiting to be called back, her and another person were bending down and giggling thus causing me to question if she was trying to steal the hair.This experience was one I had never encountered before and left me a bit taken aback. She inquired about my preferred do’s and don’ts regarding my hair and became quite combative when I spoke about my choice.
