My 4 year old daughter is going to be the flower girl in my brother’s wedding and is over the moon about it. She got her first haircut at Hair Styles and Attitudes when she was 1 and was excited to come back here for the pre-wedding cut. Being an unvaccinated kid, after booking the appointment we were hoping for reassurance that the staff was vaccinated. When I asked off hand, assuming they were, I was told that no, not all staff were vaccinated.

I showed her a couple of photos of what I was looking for and she gave me a really nice cut that was more flattering than I expected. She was obviously a pro. Highly recommend!

Critical: QualityHad a bad experience highlighting/toning my hair, went home to my head feeling on fire – as if icey-hot was rubbed over my entire head. Severe migraine / nausea the whole night/part of next morning. Called in tears telling them about what happened. They dismissed my pain & didn’t take any sort of accountability for what happened to me. Really wanted a refund because of what happened plus they left my hair feeling thinner/dryer & very unhealthy, plus a lighter highlight then expected. they don’t give refunds (which is typically understandable), but I don’t think going home in pain is a normal experience after visiting a professional salon. I had my hair cut and styled at Hair Styles & Attitudes from 2003 until 2013. The only reason I now go elsewhere is due to a relocation of my office building. For those 10 years I received excellent service! This is the place to go if you want to feel like a million bucks without spending it! Shelly is phenomenal and she has surrounded herself with a staff that aims to please by listening to what you want and accomplishing a beautiful, finished product. They are well educated and keep up to date by continuing their education.

I have been going to this salon for 25+ years and have NEVER had bad service. I go every 4 weeks for a color and cut and twice a year for straightening. I see the same people there time after time. Shelly and her team are AWSOME and I have recommended them to many friends who are now happy customers. Shelly will bend over backwards to make a customer happy. Okay, so I rarely visit a hair salon because stylists often don’t understand the texture of my hair. I am latin with fine but coarse hair. Cuts usually end up way to short and unappealing to me. I decided to try this salon and was surprised to find a stylist that had experience with hair like mine. Anyway, I digress, the stylist gave me a super cut, used products that softened my hair that really helped with frizz, and a product that protected my hair from heat, and(!) made it shine! THANK YOU for giving me an amazing cut!!!!!
