I love it here!! I’ve been going to Gerri for years now. I follow her anywhere she goes. She’s a great stylist. The SGF location is perfect for my family. Only ten minutes away from home. I now bring my 2.5 year old in for his haircut and he just loves Miss G, as he calls her. She’s so good with him and gets him to actually stay still and enjoy his hair being cut and styled. We love the other girls there too. Everyone is super nice and he loves the attention and they always make sure he leaves with a lollipop. We love it there, and always look forward to returning. =)

It says one star but it’s really none. I had a young girl cut my name there. She asked me what I meant by layered after she hacked my hair up. I had hair to my should blades, I definitely no longer do. I had to go to another salon and have it fixed. The worst part is the manager looked at me and the hack job this girl did and looked completely terrified. She never spoke. She continued on as if it looked fine. That is low. I had to go to a different salon and have it fixed. The first thing I was asked was if I minded going really short. Worst salon ever!

horrible experience. I went in for a balliage. When I was sitting in my stylists chair, another stylist came in from outside. She stood at the booth next to me, flossing her teeth in the mirror. When her client came in, she was complaining that she didn’t know how to mix blonde hair color, and somehow convinced her client to change her mind on what she wanted done. At this point, my gut was telling me to leave before my hair was touched. My stylist did her thing, and $100 later, there was no blonde in the tips of my hair, and somehow mt entire head was a beautiful hue of ORANGE. I skipped out on the haircut and decided to just go home before the damage was worse. My stylist must have known she did a horrible job, as she asked me to come back the next day so she could “add more highlights”. She had no problem taking my money though. And, I never went back, nor will I ever go back. It is night and day between the stylists in South glens falls, and those in Saratoga. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of the south glens falls salon.
