Okay, my mom bought me a Groupon haircut for this place and Amber was the stylist I had. Before I left the cut seemed okay but as I went through my day and saw other people I realized it was not. I was told by several people how my bangs were uneven/crooked so the following day (yesterday) I realized how bad they were. There were long pieces everywhere, they were slanted.. it was just not good. I had to fix them myself which meant they had to go shorter than I would prefer. There were also long pieces in the bulk of my hair that needed fixed. The people there were nice but considering my appointment started 20 minutes late and my bangs were an absolute disaster, I won’t return.

Dawn at Hairspray Cafe is incredible! I came in after over a year without a proper haircut and I left feeling glamours! I had an image of what I was looking for and that’s what I got. I have long hair and I wanted to keep the length but lighten up the weight with tons of fresh layers but didn’t want it to be thin and wispy at the ends. She gave me just what I wanted. The salon is open by appointment only. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment today! Everyone there is a true professional but I absolutely recommend Dawn!

Critical: Professionalism, QualityI got a shellac manicure and spa pedicure by Amber. She was nice, but I was pretty disappointed with the quality. She didn’t turn on the pedi tub so I just had still, warm water. The paint for my toes was old and gummy and looked worse than if I had done them myself. The shellac polish was better, but the bottle was almost empty so the coats were sparse and you could still see through it. I definitely want wouldn’t pay for that again. Just saw Dawn today and she was Amazing!! She definitely knows her stuff! She was very honest about what would look good with my type of hair. And explained everything as she was doing it. She is so sweet and makes you feel so comfortable! I walked out looking like a Pantene hair model! Lol My highlights look so natural and my cut was exactly what I wanted. Thanks Dawn! Been here multiple times to see Jill. She does a fantastic job every time. Appointments are easy to make and I never have to wait. Jill is the only stylist I’ve seen here, but I have nothing but great things to say about her. Her prices are very reasonable and she doesn’t force me into conversation if I just want to sit quietly.
