This salon is the best. They make you feel like family when you walk in the door. Danielle is amazing. She has cut everyone in my family’s hair for 10 years. She never steers you wrong on color or style. She knows hair and is an amazing colorist. She builds trust with her clients and has the most amazing caring and bubbly personality. The owner Dan is a wonderful person and has created a salon family with the stylists and customers. I won’t go anywhere else.

I have been having my naturally curly hair, cut, colored, and styled by Dan for 30 years +. I’m a retired banker. My hair needed to look properly groomed. With naturally curly hair you have to know what you are doing to get a beautiful cut. I get lots of compliments. Thank you, Dan, you’re the best. Girls in the shop want to do my hair and I tell them it is ok if they want to play with my color, but only Dan will cut my hair. The girls offer friendly suggestions for colors for me to try and I appreciate that. This is a friendly salon, friendly must be a requirement to work here. See you in 4 weeks. Can’t wait to see my next color.

My son has Trichotillomania, a mental health condition which causes him to pull his hair out. Over the years taking him to get his hair cut was always an unpleasant an embarrassing experience for him. When a barber or beautician would be cutting his hair he was at his most vulnerable, and often times was asked embarrassing questions about why he had bald spots, or why he looked the way he did. Other people working in the salon would be looking at his half pulled out hair, and some of them even made comments. EVERYTHING was different at Hair Solutions. Dan and the other Hair Solutions staff has always treated my Son with kindness and have NEVER made him feel different from any other person walking thru their doors. Dan near works miracles with my Son’s hair, fixing problems I didn’t know could be fixed. I call them his magical scissors that he uses to blend the bald areas in with the rest, making my Sons hair look normal, and allowing him to leave the shop with a ton of self-confidence. I have never had a problem getting an appointment, and we have never had to wait for our scheduled appointment time. My Son enjoys his visit with Dan and they have had many conversations about the “Walking Dead” and other shared interests. No more uncomfortable hair cuts. No more embarrassing questions. Thank you Hair Solutions for being such a great place! Thank you Dan for being such a great barber/beautician!

Went to get my hair colored for my baby shower and it’s not what I wanted. Before getting my hair colored my hair was blonde out grown with 2-3 new growth (medium dark brown in new growth) and a brown peak a boo. I wanted my hair to be light brown (almost close to a light blonde color) with highlights. All she did was put some highlights in and charged me $95. My roots looked like I just highlighted my own hair to try to make it in happy with the results. Also left the gold band in my hair from when I did it because I can’t see the back of my head. When I go to a professional and pay a lot of money to get my hair done you would figure they would fix it. I would never like my client leave my chair unhappy. Seeing someone’s hair like that I would ask them do they mind hanging for a little to fix it. Than I called and texted Danielle to make a new appointment to get my hair fix and she said it would be any where from free to $50. She said she only had one day free and wanted to know if I wanted the appointment but I asked her what the price would be before making the appointment and she never got back with me. Plus I tipped her $15. There went $110 down the drain!
