Positive: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI’ve been going to Hair Slingers for years now and I’ve never been disappointed! Every time I come in with crazy hair dreams my stylist Brittany always does an amazing job! Especially explaining the process fully. I’ve gone from dark brown to heavily highlighted and back again. Last year I was even able to add extensions, that Brittany perfectly matched! I love all the girls here, they are all extremely talented and welcoming and always give me the TLC I need. I’ve been going to Hair Slingers for years now and I’ve never been disappointed! Every time I come in with crazy hair dreams my stylist Brittany always does an amazing job! Especially explaining the process fully. I’ve gone from dark brown to heavily highlighted and back again. Last year I was even able to add extensions, that Brittany perfectly matched! I’ve been going to Brittany Harbour for well over a year now and I am absolutely blown away with what an amazing job she does everytime! She listens and makes a gameplan that not only looks amazing, but is healthy for your hair. She truly cares unlike a lot of hair stylists I’ve used. She’s reasonable and even dealt with me when I wanted to go from dark almost black hair to blonde. She didn’t rush to bleach everything right then and there, but spread things out to make sure my hair wasn’t completely damaged and I couldn’t thank her enough. Critical: ProfessionalismJust a nope. Was a client for over 3 years and after consistently asking for simple things such as a brighter blonde at the ends (whatever product she was using was making me yellow/brassy), and struggling with cuts that did nothing to shape/style my hair and then dealing with breakage, I was told by my stylist that she wasn’t the right stylist for me. You’re right. It isn’t a good fit. I was enamored with the place at first, but over time started realizing that the quality just isn’t there and long term my hair has suffered. It’s insulting for it to be insinuated that it’s because she can’t make me happy, when it’s really that she may not know how to actually maintain blonde long term. A professional stylist and proper establishment will own their flaws and not try to blame their short comings on a client. I suggest spending your money somewhere else if you’re searching for a good hair salon. My experience is with one stylist but unfortunately that skews my opinion of the establishment since it wasn’t even suggested to try someone else at the salon. It was simply a good luck in finding someone else. Incredibly unprofessional for charging prices close to a higher end salon.Just a nope. Was a client for over 3 years and after consistently asking for simple things such as a brighter blonde at the ends (whatever product she was using was making me yellow/brassy), and struggling with cuts that did nothing to shape/style my hair and then dealing with breakage, I was told by my stylist that she wasn’t the right stylist for me.
