Positive: QualityMay is my hair designer and she has been taking care of my hair for many years now. Recently I did a digital perm at the bottom layer and did my top layer straight. Critical: Professionalism, QualitySo this is my first time posting review. I had to leave comment because it was that devastating. The barber called Su she is the chief barber or something, demanded me to leave more tips because she have to pay the hair assistances as well even after I left 20% tips. Second time I visited it was also Su. She won’t even talk to u whole time straight face and been really rude the whole time. I really wanted to leave this place as soon as possible as I was getting haircut. I asked me how’s length of ur bangs and I couldn’t see it cuz I have bad vision so I told her I have a bad vision. She sighed and said “why don’t u grab ur glasses yourself”. She NOT EVEN EXAGGERATING finished my hair including drying my hair and shampooing my hair and cutting my hair in 23min. She put zero effort and she didn’t even give me a chance to correct the hair after she dried my hair. WITHOUT EVEN ASKING she put hair wax thing on my hair. My hair is way shorter than I was thinking. I showed her a pic and she said “oh like that? Ok” and just cut it too short than i thought. My hair is awful as well.. I don’t know how my haircuting experience can turn out this bad… When you walk in this barbershop, I have never seen this shop having more than one other person in the shop unlike other Korean barbershops that are really busy in centreville. I paid 24$ and obviously didn’t leave tips for her. Don’t go here. It was the worst experience ever… Her name is Su or something.So this is my first time posting review. I’ve called them as their business opened (this wasn’t the 1st time), and it seems they have every reason as to why I can’t schedule at the requested time (e.g. stylist requested is sick, it’s lunch time, too late in the hours, etc.). I was hoping that the receptionist is aware enough to know to handle scheduling but that wasn’t the case.From professional service stand point, I’ve seen better and cleaner quality in other neighborhoods, and I was hoping their customer and professional service would improve, but that’s NOT the case. So, I’ve used hair sketch frequently and their quality of service seems to be on part at best. I’ve called them as their business opened (this wasn’t the 1st time), and it seems they have every reason as to why I can’t schedule at the requested time (e.g. stylist requested is sick, it’s lunch time, too late in the hours, etc.). Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueHad a wonderful experience! Was generally interested in getting a perm/exploring new hair styles, and I loved the style that Sue recommended for me. I was particularly impressed by the stylists’ attentiveness and patience throughout the styling process — would recommend, and will be back very soon. Thank you!
