I usually leave a salon wanting to immediately go home to re-style it but Kent did such a great job, I was sorry I didn’t have errands to run! And the price was very reasonable. Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI usually never leave reviews, especially bad ones but I am honestly traumatized. I saw Kent over the summer and thought he was really sweet so I scheduled a second appointment in September to have my roots done. I was a curly platinum blonde at the time and my hair was at the top of my chest. When I went in for my appointment he had multiple people call and ask for appointments which the then scheduled OVER my appointment. For some reason, he decided to lighten my shafts more than they already were even though they were already extremely light and fragile. He said he would only leave it on for a couple minutes. Well then he walked away and started doing other appointments during mine with bleach on my hair. Once he finally came back and rinsed me, he then told me that I should have told him my hair takes a long time to process (which is not my job as I am not a hair professional). He then told me that he does not have time to dry or style my hair because he scheduled more appointments. He also then mentioned that he ran out of platinum toner the other day and put a golden blonde toner on my hair. I then when to work and as my hair dried, my once platinum hair was yellow, my curly were gone and it was standing almost straight up completely fluffy and ruined. I rushed home to do a deep conditioning treatment but as soon as it got wet it started breaking off if clumps. I went to multiple salons who wouldn’t even consider touching my hair it was so damaged. It is now the end of December and my hair is still awful. I had to cut 8 inches off. More needed cut but I didn’t want to be bald. I have multiple patches on my head that are only 3 inches long. Every salon I talk to says I should take action but I am not that type of person. I saw Kent over the summer and thought he was really sweet so I scheduled a second appointment in September to have my roots done. Our morning was full of conversation and I felt truly valued as a client. He gave me and my crazy amount of hair the time it needed to result in the perfect cut I was looking for! I have lots of frizz in my hair and he took time to explain the best ways for me to control it and taught me how to bring out my natural curls. I have never seen my curls looking this great. I had an AMAZING experience with Kent, the owner! I called last minute and he got me right in same day in a Saturday. Our morning was full of conversation and I felt truly valued as a client. He gave me and my crazy amount of hair the time it needed to result in the perfect cut I was looking for!
