Took my daughter here. Second time. First time hair and makeup on point, but then came the nails. They had someone training do them. Looked like a 3 year old painted them, definitely not worth it. This time I said just hair and make up. Now, the hair isn’t really what my daughter wanted and it looks like something I could have done. Definitely looking for somewhere else for her prom. I may even drive out to Illinois or hire someone to do it. Because I’m not going to pay a fortune for service that isn’t worth it. I’m really disappointed.

Olivia is super nice, she takes walks ins and salon is very clean. She has reasonable prices and is very personable. There is plenty of parking and it is easy to get to. I would not hesitate to get my hair and beard trimmed up nice for any one of my FreeMason events.

This was my first time visiting this salon. When I called to make an appointment, I asked for a stylist who was experienced with baylage. After being on hold for 10 minutes, the receptionist recommended Wendy. I was excited for my appointment because I read nothing but good reviews, but I have to say that I’m a bit disappointed with how my hair turned out. My appointment was at 5:30 and I didn’t get into the salon until after 6. I understand that sometimes stylists may run behind, but I felt like my appointment was completely rushed and only half of my hair was done. The top of my hair (which in my opinion is the most important) looks terrible and super chunky and not well blended like a baylage should look. I had a baylage done last summer and it looks like she only bothered to do half of my hair (and I have a lot of hair). I’ve never complained about a salon before, but I felt like my time was completely rushed and I’m not happy with how my hair turned out. I spent a decent amount of money here and will now have to spend more money to fix it. Overall, I thought the environment was nice and clean but I am not satisfied with my hair and the service I received. I highly recommend not making an appointment for coloring towards the end of the day with this stylist.

I always learn something new from her, whether it be about blow drying, flat ironing or overall care products. Wendy did an absolutely amazing bridesmaid updo for me. It was far and aways the best updo I’ve ever had. She used my natural curl texture (as opposed to straightening my curls to then recurl them, like all of my previous updos) and braids to create this fabulous boho chic look. I wish I had a photo, but alas, the wedding photos have not been posted yet. TLDR: Wendy is amazing!
