1st time here, referred by a friend, I needed something spur of the moment, and I am so happy I came. I wanted to know pricing and availability and they requested I come in for a consultation first. I did and spoke to Cho Hee. I haven’t had my hair done in 6 months and by now it was very long and damaged. Cho Hee took EXCELLENT care of me, squeezed me in 1st thing in the morning, and pampered me the whole time. She is very kind, caring, and efficient. I was impressed watching her and her staff handle all their clients. Each client had 2 or 3 staff members working on them along each step of the way. This salon is very clean and professional. I’m very pleased with the end result as well after showing Cho Hee pictures of the cut and color I would like. I’m looking forward to going back. Thank you SO much for your time and attention, Cho Hee and staff!!

I asked for a root touch up for my ash blonde balayage but my hair did not come out like I asked for (the hair stylist who assisted me told me she could do it beforehand too, so I trusted her). My roots are orange and there are also sporadic parts in my hair that are yellow and brassy. I also asked for a seamless transition between my naturally black hair and bleached hair, but it is a little chunky and sudden for my taste. Consider looking for a different place to balayage your hair, but if you’re looking for just a regular cut it should be okay.

I’ve gone to Ziva for over 3 years now, and I always get an appointment with Sarah. I have very thin hair and she always gives me advice in how to cut and style my hair to get more volume and a thicker look. I highly recommend!

I got a haircut and texture clinic from ChoHee! I don’t have the photos right now but will update it soon when I do, it’s truly amazing to see how silky, soft, and full of volume it is now. I used to have (for my entire twenty-something years) very dry and frizzy hair so it’s almost touching to feel the silkiness that’s coating my entire hair. (ChoHee applied treatment and ironed EVERY LITTLE PIECE OF MY LAYERED HAIR, so now I feel like a barbie doll that has cute straightened hair but also miraculously with great volume. As you know, those two usually don’t come together lol) Also Chohee took her time to explain the difference between regular straightening, keratin treatment, and texture clinic when I asked. I could tell She put lots of effort and the price was fair too. I’m honestly so glad that I got texture clinic today because it didn’t only straighten your hair, but also kept good volume so my new hush cut looks so light-hearted and volumey❤️ Thanks again Chohee, I will definitely go back in the future!

3 days ago I got a totally different hair color. It was a dried up yellow when I walked in, then a smooth awesome purple when I walked out. Despite the price They really took their time to make sure it came out 100% great and it really did have a lot to show for in the end. My hair stylist was Sarah & she was very understanding of what I wanted & completely helpful in the after-process thank you!

About around 2 months ago I visited this salon to get my hair rebleached after 4 months of having my hair uneven with very yellow hair since the previous salon I visited had messed up my hair. I decided to go light blonde so I decided to come to Ziva. Ester and one of the other hairdressers were highly consistent of making sure my hair turned out the way I wanted it to be! Then two days ago, I decided to go back for another hair appointment but this time it was for a perm + trim. I was lucky enough to book my appointment the same day with Sarah. She’s very kind. I was told with my hair still having bleached parts it would not be recommended to get a perm due to the amount of chemicals that were already on my hair running the risk of it not fully forming. I decided to take the risk and I was highly surprised my hair did not fall off and the curls remained! After many times of using developer and other hair dyes throughout the past 2 months, my hair was still going strong! I love how my hair went from being a dyed medium brown to a lighter shade of brown after the perm. The last time I had my hair permed was about around August-September of 2020 at this same hair salon. This place is my new go to. I got a straight perm about 5 months ago here and my hair turned out great considering I had highlights and my hair wasn’t in the best condition. I have curly frizzy hair and they made it look so nice. They also give amazing haircuts and dye hair really well. My sister goes to them too. She went from having black hair to blonde hair and her hair isn’t really damaged or anything. They did a great job! I highly recommend

For the cost, I wish my hairstylist was more attentive and caring of my hair. My hair was cut unevenly, including my bangs and I still have split ends. It seemed like they were trying to rush me in and out for the money, as I was only there for 20 minutes. I wish I had considered these reviews as a warning and canceled my appointment.

My appointment was right before the recent lockdown and the owner reached out to me directly through text to reassure me that she would be able to do my hair. She’s the absolute sweetest, most genuine salon owner I’ve ever come across-I felt welcome and comfortable right away. She was so quick and delicate with her scissors and I was thrilled with the results. I’ve had about 4inches of dead hair weighing me down since I moved to CA from out of state a year ago that were chopped off into the cutest bob. I will absolutely be visiting again!!!!!
