Positive: QualityAmazing place for men! This place is run by a patriot that loves his country and loves his clients! I have lived in Stuart for 3 years and only found him 1 year ago… Haircuts are $12, bring cash…. I usually pay $20 total for haircut and great conversation. Do yourself a favor and go in for a visit, you will be happy you did.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityVery Unprofessional, Very DisappointedI decided to try this place based on their great reviews. I called on a Thursday for the first time to make an appointment for hair coloring. A male answered the phone with a hello in a tone that conveyed I might be bothering him. No mention of the business name in his “greeting”. I had to ask him if I had the right number. I told him I would like to schedule an appointment for coloring, which he said “Hold on…” a woman gets on the phone who again, answered the phone with an annoyed “hello”. Not even stating her name or a “How can I help you?”. Very unprofessional, who am I speaking with? Felt like I was interrupting people at home, not calling a business. I should have trusted my instinct based on that alone, but trusted the great reviews so I was willing to chance it. During the conversation with the colorist, she informed me that she was the ONLY colorist Hair Rock had. Remember this for later. She scheduled a consult for Wednesday and color for Thursday. Fast forward to Tuesday, the day before my consult. I call to confirm my appointment since they never called to do so. A male answered the phone and told me the colorist would call me right back. Finally…Much later in the day, I get a call from a Marta Diaz. Asking me when I can come in for my appointment. Confused, I told her I already had scheduled two appointments and I was just calling to confirm. She said “Well, she can’t do it so she asked me to take care of you. “Since they only supposedly had ONE colorist, who is this lady calling me trying to do my hair? And what happened to my original appointments? All I was told is that she couldn’t do it. So, of course, “Marta”, whoever she is, can’t find a time to fit me in that works. So this place waited from Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday all the way until Tuesday to tell me this. I was going on vacation right after this appointment so I was left without a hair cut or color for my vacation. If they would not have waited 5 days to even tell me they weren’t going to do my hair, (and I probably would have showed up since I’m the one who had to make the call to reminding them I was coming), I would have been able to find another place no problem.I called and asked to speak to the owner of Hair Rock. Not even sure the man I was taking to was the owner, as he never identified himself as the owner when I asked. He apologized multiple times and listened, and said he would check into what happened. Never received a call back. No offer to make up for their screw up. Again, completely unprofessional. That’s too bad because if you would have AT LEAST done that, it would have saved you this terrible review of your business.
