Booked an appointment for a wash, haircut, and blow-dry for my daughter. Lady wasn’t mean by no means, but wasn’t friendly. Didn’t wash my daughters hair, she just cut it dry. Daughter wanted several layers added in, but the lady just trimmed ends till my daughter called me over and I expressed she wanted deeper layers. After that she just kind of gave her the layered bangs, but you should not do layers dry. At all. Over all she just did what I’ve been doing for the last 3 years for my daughter and basically just trimmed my work up. No blow out with the hairdryer either to get out the hair pieces. Over all was the worst $18 I’ve spent on a haircut. Will not be back.

Okay, this place is great for cuts and getting styled, but DO NOT go to get your hair dyed if you’re doing what they call “fantasy colors”. Completely screwed up my hair, didn’t give me what I wanted, and it was over 100$ to get my hair done when I could have just done something at home instead.

I love this place. Christy is the one I usually see to cut my hair. While my hair can present a challenge , she always rises above to make me look my best. She’s even got the skill to fix my mistakes. Everyone in the salon has skills that is hard to find in other places and is more than willing to make you happy. I would recommend this salon to anyone who not only wants a great hairstyle but also a great atmosphere.

I would just like to leave a comment about my service today, I have been looking for a new place to get a hair cut for awhile. My son has been going to Destiny Backus for his military cuts so I thought I would give her a try. Let me say it’s the best cut I have had in years!!!! She took the time to listen to what I wanted and did an amazing cut even with the razor cut to frame my face, I will definitely be going back and telling everyone about this young lady!

This is an outstanding place to get your hair done. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable. They take their time to find out how you want your hair to look. They are easy going and personable. I brought in a picture off of the internet and Tara ( the stylist that did my hair) helped adapt the colors to what I wanted. They also have a 1week color guarantee. If you are unhappy with the color in any way you have a week to contact them and they will fix it to your satisfaction for free. This was my first appointment there and I will definitely return in the future. They take walkins and appointments. The price was comparable to the place I was going and it didn’t have a stated guarantee. Give this place a try. You’ll be glad you did.
