Jackie and the rest of the ladies at Hair Play were so awesome to work with for my wedding party this summer. They were so much fun, did beautiful work, and were happy to let us set up mimosas and breakfast in another room to give everyone something to drink and munch on while we spent our morning there. Jackie was flexible and willing to meet me in advance for a hairdo trial and I was so impressed with her talent! Will definitely recommend to bridal parties for great service and a great atmosphere! Asked for platinum blonde highlights, and my hair turned purple AND darker than it had been before. I do understand the purple may have washed out over time, but my hair was so dark to the point I hardly even had any blonde anymore, which is what I asked for. The lady I had (she didn’t tell me her name) kept adding product to my hair after the highlights had been taken out of the foils which I think was the problem. For future reference, I’d do the highlights, and wash the hair and leave it as that. I paid 130 dollars just to pay 8 to box dye my hair the same night, and it turned out 10x better than what I received at the salon. I didn’t even get a receipt, and payed with my card. Honestly what it seems like she did was add all this stuff to my hair to jack up the price, and hoped it looked like what I wanted.
